If you're visiting Alicante, don't miss this walking tour, and if you're lucky enough to have Pablo as your guide, you're in for something truly special. Pablo brought the city to life with his incredible knowledge, engaging storytelling, and genuine passion for Alicante. Every stop had a story, every street had history, and he made the entire experience feel personal, fun, and unforgettable. He struck the perfect balance between historical facts, local culture, and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. What really stood out was Pablo's enthusiasm and sense of humor. He was approachable, patient, and happy to answer every question while making us feel welcome. It never felt like a scripted tour, it felt like exploring the city with a knowledgeable local friend who genuinely loves sharing his hometown. By the end of the tour, we had a much deeper appreciation for Alicante and several fantastic recommendations for places to eat, drink, and explore afterward. We booked a walking tour through Tripadvisor to appreciate the historic city of Alicante. Our guide, January, messaged in advance to confirm the arrangements and it was very straightforward to meet. January was an exceptional guide; interesting, humorous and incredibly knowledgeable about her home town. She took the time to really bring the stories of Alicante to life. The two hours flew by and we covered all the major sites and many undiscovered and fascinating places too! Thank you so much to January - you have inspired us to visit again soon 😁
Our guide Maela has a close personal tie to the city she has grown up and conveyed its culture and history in a lively manner. There are many aspects of Spanish history which we have only understand at a high level . Maela explained in depth of the human story of the Spanish civil war and how Alicante was deeply effectived. A very fun tour and we felt we saw all the highlights.
