Costruita in cima a una scogliera, la Cappella di Sra. Da Rocha permette di ammirare la bellissima costa e le formazioni rocciose. Dirigendoti a ovest sarai presentato al villaggio di Ferragudo, un tradizionale villaggio di pescatori che si affaccia sull'estuario di Portimão. Dopo aver attraversato il fiume Arade attraverso il vecchio ponte, avrai l'opportunità di contemplare dalla cima del belvedere del Forte di Santa Catarina, il fiume, la foce del fiume e la lunga Praia da Rocha. Arrivando all'affascinante città di Lagos, una gita in barca facoltativa di un'ora ti stupirà mentre porta i nostri turisti alle grotte di Ponta da Piedade e alle formazioni rocciose. Un'esperienza da non perdere. Il centro storico conserva ancora il suo carattere distintivo, con strade acciottolate, ristoranti autentici e un'atmosfera rilassata e accogliente. Sul magnifico promontorio di Senhora da Rocha, si trova la Cappella di Senhora da Rocha. Secondo fonti storiche, la Cappella era circondata da un'antica fortezza (XV secolo), che dominava l'intera costa tra Faro e Lagos, e proteggeva le popolazioni e la costa, ma la fortezza fu distrutta durante il terremoto del 1755.
Cammina lungo le strade acciottolate di questo pittoresco villaggio. Avrai l'opportunità di salire sulla collina fino al punto di vista della chiesa principale di Nostra Signora della Concezione (magnifica vista per le foto della città di Portimão e del fiume Arade). Discesa alla spiaggia di Angrinha da Praia Grande
Proseguendo verso Praia da Rocha visiteremo il Forte di Santa Catarina per ammirare il fiume Arade, la sua foce e la famosa spiaggia di Praia da Rocha. Ottimo momento per "fermarsi" e bere qualcosa prima di dirigersi a Lagos.
Gita in barca attraverso le incredibili grotte e le formazioni rocciose mozzafiato di Ponta da Piedade. Un'esperienza da non perdere. Durata: 1 ora e 15 minuti (FACOLTATIVO) - Supplemento - Adulti: € 20 / Bambini Visita del mercato municipale di Lagos e del suo belvedere per ammirare la Marina e Meia Praia. Sebastião in Praça Gil Eanes Visita guidata a piedi, attraverso il centro di Lagos, passando per il Mercato degli Schiavi (il primo mercato degli schiavi in Europa) e la Chiesa di Santo António (XVIII secolo - un unico pezzo di architettura). Conosci l'Arco di San Gonçalo (una porta storica per la città vecchia di Lagos) e la statua dello stesso santo, dove puoi goderti un ambiente ideale per le foto (Meia Praia, Praia da Batata; e il piccolo forte di Ponta da Bandeira). Breve visita a Praia do Pinhão e Ponta da Piedade (dove si possono ammirare il faro e le scogliere con spiagge nascoste).
Visita al mercato municipale di Lagos e al suo belvedere per ammirare la Marina e Meia Praia. Un posto molto rilassante per bere qualcosa e fare foto.

We booked a full-day coast tour of the Algarve with Johnny and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was a fantastic guide — thoughtful, prepared, and made sure we had everything we needed along the way, including plenty of water. What really stood out was his deep knowledge of the region; he clearly knew the history and stories behind every stop, which made the whole day so much richer than just sightseeing. Highly recommend Johnny if you want a tour guide who genuinely cares about giving you a great experience. Would book with him again in a heartbeat!

5 stars I have travelled to my fair share of places around the world and have been on many tours, and I can confidently say that Johnny was among the absolute best. Johnny was very polite, accommodating, and genuinely kind. He put a lot of thought into the locations which he brought us to and was very knowledgeable about both their history and unique geographical features. I would 100% book Johnny's services again; it being one of the highlights of my trip.

What an amazing day in the beautiful area of Albufeira. Johnny is very knowledgable about this area, the history of Portugal 🇵🇹 and the towns in this area . He gave us ample time to explore the surrounding, took us to the best restaurant. Vehicle is airconditioned and Johnny is a very safe driver. We had a good supply of cold water , and the use of clean bathrooms arranged by Johnny at restaurants that he knows the owners. This is definitely a tour guide we can recommend. SAFE DRIVING SKILLS !!
Our trip was an amazing experience, our guide Johnny is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, accommodating, helpful! His knowledge about the history of Portugal , the Algarve and the towns in this area is excellent. He gave us ample time to walk and explore, took pictures of us . Great tour of the Algarve’s coast including a small boat tour of the Bengil caves which entered all the caves . Lunch was exceptional as were the views from the cliffs. Johnny made the day comfortable informative but he was not intrusive and flexible with our group

We spent a lovely day with Johnny and saw the lovely sights that the Algarve coast had to offer. As soon as Johnny picked us up he said that the day was "about us" and that he would tailor the day around us. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the history of the region and gave the impression that he is passionate about the subject and proud of his country. We very much enjoyed walking around Lagos with Johnny and will definitely go back and spend more time there in the future and would also like to explore the caves in that part of the coast and Johnny has offered to help us book that in the future. Johnny was the best private tour guide we had during our 2-week Portugal adventure. He took us through the Algarve and showed us so many beautiful hidden spots and hidden gems we never would have found on our own.
