Questo giro turistico di 4 ore viaggia a bordo di un autobus/furgone più piccolo attraverso più quartieri, molti dei quali con viste eccezionali. La tua guida fa luce su Lombard Street, Haight-Ashbury, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, North Beach e altro ancora. Inoltre, non c'è bisogno di perdere tempo in fila per acquistare i biglietti per una delle attrazioni più visitate di San Francisco: l'Isola di Alcatraz e la prigione federale lì. Questa piccola isola un tempo era un forte, una prigione militare e un penitenziario federale di massima sicurezza. L'isola di Alcatraz è il sito della prigione federale abbandonata, del più antico faro funzionante sulla costa occidentale degli Stati Uniti, delle prime fortificazioni militari e di elementi naturali come pozze rocciose e una colonia di uccelli marini (principalmente gabbiani occidentali, cormorani e garzette). Misura 1.675 piedi (511 m) per 590 piedi (180 m) ed è 135 piedi (41 m) nel punto più alto durante la marea media.[5] Si dice che la superficie totale dell'isola sia di 22 acri (8,9 ettari).[1] I punti di riferimento sull'isola includono la cella principale, la sala da pranzo, il faro, le rovine della casa del guardiano e della sala sociale, l'area delle parate, l'edificio 64, la torre dell'acqua, l'edificio delle nuove industrie, l'edificio delle industrie modello e il cortile ricreativo. - L'autista nel bus narra in inglese. Quando ti porta alla barca che ti porta ad Alcatraz, ti danno audioguide in 12 lingue diverse: Inglese, spagnolo, francese, tedesco, italiano, olandese, giapponese, coreano, portoghese e mandarino.
- Ci riserviamo il diritto di acquistare i biglietti per Alcatraz al mattino e fare il tour della città nel pomeriggio. Poi devi arrivare al Pier 33 da solo, dopo il tour di Alcatraz, ti verremo a prendere dal Pier 33 e ti riporteremo al tuo hotel dopo il tour della città.
- Non prendiamo persone se sono fuori dalla nostra area di prelievo. Partiamo dal centro o da Fisherman's Wharf. Chiamaci o scrivici sempre in anticipo per confermare il luogo del ritiro.

It’s a part of history that everyone should know about. The entire tour was just amazing and very interesting. I think the best part was actually meeting Mr. Baker and purchasing his book.
Nice tour with stops at the main sites and with a very knowledgeable guide who throughout the tour told us what we could see out the windows. Finished with an interesting and well-organized visit to Alcatraz. The only thing the guide/company must remember is to inform better about where/which side of the hotel they are picking up guests at departure, since we unfortunately delayed the trip a little when we had not been informed of which exit of the hotel we were picked up and we therefore waited at the main entrance (and it turned out to be wrong).
Awesome saw a lot of places and the duo with Alcatraz is perfect combination definitely a must do if your here
The experience was wonderful. Buddy our tour guide for the San Francisco tour was very knowledgeable and friendly.
This was an audio tour. It was interesting to hear about all the history of Alcatraz & some of the more notable prisoners.
No time for food. Normal stopping place closed on Monday, we were not told of this prior to departure.
Buddy our guide was the best- very kind, personable and knowledgeable about SF; covered historical facts and interesting information about all the points of interest in the city. The Alcatraz portion was also excellent. Total experience 5 stars! True value!
We took the tour with Buddy and it was good as he brought us around San Francisco to all the major sights and the dropped us off at Alcatraz for the tour. The only draw back was no time for lunch other than eating something on the run.
Our tour guide Doug was not very good. Didn’t see half the stuff on the itinerary. Hey took us to a place and said you have 20 minutes to get food and the food choices were either $20 ham sandwich or a $20 turkey sandwich. I am worried that my next couple trips will be with him and have to deal with his not so pleasant experience. He then dropped us off to go to our Alcatraz tour and got mad because I didn’t have any cash on me for a tip. Did not know that I was supposed to have cash on me and let alone tip for a disappointing tour.
