The meetingpoint seems a bit chaotic and looks like a car graveyard. But the quads and buggy's are in good shape. You need to fill in some documents and a payment is blocked for warranty. Staff is friendly but pretty straight forward while explaining the rules about driving and do's and don'ts. Which is totally acceptable. The tour itself is fun and varied. Definately worth doing!
Very good, I recommend! The quads are nice and the thoughtfulness of providing water bottles in the heat is super nice.
Brilliant 90 minute experience. Went with my wife , son and his girlfriend. Hired 2 quad bikes. They were powerful and easy to drive. Very safe with helmets and briefing before. Defo recommend for something different and good value for money. Would have been event better if the journey back had been different and more exhilarating but still great fun. FYI nowhere to store valuables so have pockets with zip and recommend phone holder round your neck to capture moments. And wear old clothes if you have them as you get dusty …
We went quad biking as a couple using 1 quad bike. We both signed as drivers which allowed us both to drive (you need a wristband), changing over at the resting/break point. Remember to bring your driving licence with you. On arrival, there is a €100 deposit required per bike. This can be paid using cash or card. I recommend using cash as it can be collected instantly again at the end of the activity. This is required in protection of their quad bikes. At the briefing they explain everything but they are strong on reinforcing the idea they'll keep this deposit if you break anything and to discourage dangerous driving, which is perfectly understandable. Our tour group had 4 quad bikes and 1 buggy + a tour guide in front and behind. They are easy to drive and the process is explained well in advance, but they are heavy to turn, particularly at lower speeds. The route itself is nice, not very much to see, it is more for the experience of driving the quad bike. However, the route out to the castle (rest break) is more challenging as there is a dirt track with rocks/boulders to overcome. The route back is an easier ride so consider this when choosing drivers if you are sharing the ride. The route back is much nicer and easier to handle and you can actually take in your surroundings. The guides are fine, they don't tell you about the area, they just drive at the front so you know where you're going. They give you a couple of bottles of water for free as well which is nice and very much needed. There is no reminder on return to collect your deposit, and we almost forgot it so bear this in mind! Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty or destroyed as you do get very dusty. Depending on the time of the year you may also get wet, mucky and dirty. It was an enjoyable experience, something different. I wouldn't necessarily say it is a must do but if you're into passing the time in a different way with some adrenaline thrown in then it is worth a visit.
Very well organised. Excellent value for money and we all enjoyed it. Unforgettable experience. Instructors were very good. They ensured our safety first and made sure we all Have a great time.
We went quad biking as a couple originally thinking we had 2 quad bikes but then realised it was only 1. No issues with that, but it could've been clearer when booking. You have to put down a 100 euro deposit before setting off, for each quad bike so be aware of this. They're very big on reinforcing the idea they'll keep this deposit if you break anything (e.g. they'll charge you 50 euro for a plastic sign that probably cost 10 quid that they have zip tied onto the back of the quad bike). Regardless, that's fine, we had no intention of driving dangerously, but it does peak your anxiety. We were in a group of around 10 or so. It's easy enough to get going with the quad bikes but they are a real challenge to steer, particularly at lower speeds. Very heavy steering. The biggest issue is the route that they take you on in the first half of the ride. It is seriously challenging. Huge rocks that you can't avoid will block your path and you're given no guidance on dealing with this. At one point our quad bike nearly tipped over and as a result and I had to put my leg down which has left me with a massive bruise. It also stops you from being able to take in your surroundings if you're driving because you have to concentrate so hard at not tipping the quad over. The guides are fine but don't really put in any work to tell you about the area, they just drive at the front so you know where you're going. The route back is much nicer and easier to handle and you can actually take in your surroundings. They give you a couple of bottles of water for free as well which is nice and very much needed. Getting the deposit back was a bit weird. One woman said I had been drifting the quad. Completely untrue. I was focused on trying to make sure the thing stayed on all 4 wheels! They gave me the full deposit back in the end (as they should given I did nothing wrong and there was no damage to any vehicles) but it felt like they were looking for a reason to take more money from you. You get very messy and dusty. Not a terrible experience but wouldn't exactly recommend it either. The length is as advertised. Around an hour and a half.
Deposits are taken for no reason and the staff is unpleasant
Was greeted by very welcoming and happy Carla Maria and she made sure we were thoroughly guided in the paperwork before the trip, as well as instructions for the ATVs. We had two guides with us who helped take pictures of us when we reached our midway pitstop. The guides drove at each end of the line so no one was lost along the way. The guides were smiling and had good humor. All in all was a super cool experience. Clearly recommended👍😎
It was perfect, route advice. Plan on wearing comfortable clothing because it is very dusty, but that goes with the activity
The Good: The actual quad bike tour itself was very good, and the off-roading segments were quite intense and fun. If you're solely looking for a wild ride, you'll get it here. The Bad (And why you should proceed with caution): The Vibe: When you first arrive, the place looks like a junkyard. The welcome is incredibly abrupt and aggressive. The Rules & Hidden Fees: They are very keen to take your money the second you get there. They essentially force you to buy €5 bandanas. On top of that, they start the briefing with intense, threatening rules—warning that if anyone in the group crashes, no one gets their deposit back. It felt highly scammy and put everyone on edge. Language Barrier: The guide spoke strictly English and refused to speak any other language. If you don't speak English, you will have absolutely no idea what is going on or what the safety rules are. Safety Concerns for Beginners: There is virtually no warm-up. They throw you onto the main road almost immediately after starting. If you aren't already used to handling a quad bike, this is incredibly daunting and flat-out scary. Verdict: If you are an experienced rider who speaks fluent English and doesn't mind dealing with rude, high-pressure staff, you’ll enjoy the off-roading. If you are a beginner, look elsewhere. The actual ride is decent, but the management and business practices are awful.
