The glass bottom boat cruise at sunset was a fantastic way to end our holiday in Airlie beach. The coral reef was incredible, so many colours and types. We cruised slowly, only 1 meter over the top of the reef and the glass was crystal clear. It is the perfect way to see the reef especially with children or during the cooler months. The day we went out was a little overcast so Captain Brett took us closer to the islands and over more coral to make up for the lack of sunset. Delaney, our host, was incredibly knowledgeable and explained all the different types of coral and fish, as well as answer any questions the group had. Big thanks to Captain Brett and the entire crew for making the experience so memorable.
Had to be moved to an earlier tour last minute due to low bookings. Beet on many glass bottom boat tours before and this one wasn't value for money. The water is murky and the boat travels over things so fast that there isn't time to get a good look. Not a lot of fish either. The captain wasn't that interested in making things fun or being friendly. The guy who did the pick up didn't even say hello or anything else. The last doing the tour was friendly and knowledgeable.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Bus driver was awesome from pick-up to drop off and during boat trip. Perfect afternoon out with a few turtles seen 🐢

Excellent cruise in every way. Saw coral, fish, dolphins, island scenery, sunset over the mountains. Very good value for money as seniors - including bubbly abd nibbles.. first class comentator. Thank you. A highlight of our Airlie Beach sojourn.

Unreal experience with Pioneering Adventures. Our group of friends did both the Jet Boat and the Glass Bottom Reef Tour, and I would 10/10 recommend them both. I have done most of the day trips in Airlie Beach and Pioneering Adventures were by far the best. Great customer service, tour guides were great, amazing atmosphere and just great tours. If you're tossing up between a couple tours do yourself a favour and jump in with these guys, I've already told my in laws to book with them when they visit from Canada in October.

It was a rainy day so we didn't get much to see. Overall was very good. 2nd time on this trip yay...

Superb activity, the hoods are very welcoming , small stop for sunset and corals clearly visible, the 1h30 boat passes too fast .

I recently took the Glass Bottom Boat Tour with Pioneer Adventures, and it was truly a fantastic experience! The tour offered breathtaking views of the ocean, both above and below the surface. Seeing the vibrant marine life through the glass bottom was incredible, and the sunset made the entire journey even more magical. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable with their insightful commentary about the sea life and the area. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, ensuring a smooth and relaxing ride. This tour is a must-do for anyone looking for a unique way to explore the ocean. I highly recommend it! 😊
