L'Odeon di Erode Attico è uno splendido teatro in pietra situato sul versante sud-ovest dell'Acropoli di Atene. Costruito nel 161 d.C. dal senatore romano Erode Attico in memoria della moglie, era originariamente coperto da un tetto in legno e poteva ospitare circa 5.000 spettatori. Il Teatro di Dioniso (o Teatro di Dioniso, greco: Θέατρο του Διονύσου) è un antico teatro greco di Atene. È costruito sul versante sud del colle dell'Acropoli, originariamente parte del santuario di Dioniso Eleuterio
Il Partenone (/ˈpɑːrθəˌnɒn, -nən/; Greco antico: Παρθενών, romanizzato: Parthenōn [par.the.nɔ̌ːn]; greco: Παρθενώνας, romanizzato: Parthenónas [parθeˈnonas]) è un ex tempio sull'Acropoli ateniese, in Grecia, che era dedicato alla dea Atena. Le sue sculture decorative sono considerate alcuni dei punti più alti dell'arte greca classica, e il Partenone è considerato un simbolo duraturo dell'Antica Grecia, della democrazia e della civiltà occidentale.
Il Tempio di Efesto è uno degli antichi templi greci meglio conservati, situato nell'Antica Agorà di Atene. La Stoa di Attalos è un grande edificio colonnato a due piani nell'antica Agorà di Atene, originariamente costruito nel II secolo a.C. dal re Attalo II di Pergamo. La stoa fungeva da passerella coperta e zona commerciale in tempi antichi e si erge come un ottimo esempio di architettura ellenistica e vita pubblica nella classica Atene.
L'antica Agorà di Atene (chiamata anche Agorà Classica) è l'esempio più noto di un'antica agorà greca, situata a nord-ovest dell'Acropoli e delimitata a sud dalla collina dell'Areopago e ad ovest dalla collina nota come Agoraios Kolonos, chiamata anche Collina del Mercato. L'uso iniziale dell'Agorà era per un luogo commerciale, di assemblea o di ritrovo residenziale

Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. She moved us through the crowds effectively and always found some shade to provide us with some information.
My husband and I booked Athens Walks for a walking tour of the Acropolis and Ancient Agora while visiting Athens on vacation. Booking the tour was very easy, and the price was very reasonable. From start to finish, the company really knows what they’re doing. Once we arrived at the meeting location, we received our listening devices and met our guide, Angel. From there, it was just a short walk to the Acropolis. Angel was truly amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Greek history, and it was a pleasure listening to her. She had a wonderful way of bringing the history to life and making everything we were seeing so much more meaningful. It was extremely crowded and hot that day, but Angel did a great job making sure we stayed together and found shade whenever possible. She was attentive, organized, and genuinely caring throughout the entire tour. We were so glad we booked this tour because experiencing the Acropolis and Ancient Agora with a knowledgeable guide like Angel made all the difference. She truly brought the history to life for us, and we would highly recommend Athens Walks to anyone visiting Athens!

Angelica was lovely. I think they gave us a beyond knowlege tour guide. It was a small group however you can easily get mixed in with the other tours happening around you so pay attention. Wear a hat, bring a water bottle and comfy shoes. It was a great tour good tour length and you will have walk like 10k in the tour alone.

What a surreal experience this was. From the bottom to the top it was so exciting to learn how democracy started. The way of Greek society, and Greek gods just made our day more memorable.
