We visited Bhutan in December, and the trail conditions were perfect for riding mountain bikes all day. Our trip went very well with Happy Place Expedition, thanks to their strong experience in mountain biking. Everything we needed for the trip was well arranged by the HPE team. We had an amazing time with them as they introduced us to Bhutanese culture, religion, and—most importantly—their beautiful trails, which impressed us from the very beginning of the trip. Flying into Bhutan on their national airline was also a unique experience. As soon as you land, the first thing you notice is the fresh, clean air that welcomes you to the country. Mountain biking in Bhutan with Happy Place Expedition was an amazing experience. The trails were beautiful and fun to ride, with great views of the Himalayas. The team was friendly, helpful, and knew a lot about biking and Bhutanese culture. Everything was well organized, and the trip was very enjoyable. A great mix of adventure, culture, and warm hospitality.

Bhutan is so magical. Happy Place Expedition made our trip smooth and easy. We just went with the flow, and let our guide show us Bhutan which was what I believe made our experience incredible. We didn’t worry about our itinerary & followed our hearts. We only asked our guide, SP what is the weather if we were going to need a Jacket or not, or if we’re hiking that day or not. We start our days ready for anything Bhutan was going to show us. We went to Thimphu, Phunaka, & Paro. All had its own charm and all amazing. Our guide, SP is well informed, made us feel at ease, and accommodated our requests. He even sang a Bhutanese song upon our request when we realized he had such a soothing voice. That was so kind of him. Jimmy, our driver, is a really good driver. I really enjoyed our trips. He’s so considerate and even slows down when he sees me wanting to get a good picture or video. He’s so mindful at keeping us safe. It’s so lovely of Nima, the owner, to join us the day before we left. We went to Tiger’s nest hike that day, some shopping in town, rented Bhutanese national clothing.. Kira for women and Goh for men. He even shared with us their hot stone bath which really ended our day perfectly. All in all, I’m so glad we went on the tour with Happy Place Expedition. WOWza…. What an incredible trip. No words can even describe the blissful feeling I had on my trip to Bhutan. It is an incredibly magical place. Beautiful country with beautiful people. It was like being transported to another dimension & another time. Happy place expedition is an absolute gem. They are legit and made everything easy and no pressure. Nima, the owner, was very prompt in answering all our questions & concerns even before we got to Bhutan. From the time we arrived, our guide and our driver took care of us. They made the trip so easy & convenient. My friend is a vegetarian and I’m not; and they had been very considerate with both our needs. Our guide, SP, was phenomenal & very knowledgeable. He was able to curate our trip based on our needs and flexible in making our additional requests a reality. Jigme, our driver, was wonderful. He made us feel safe on our roadtrips across towns. It felt like he was one with his car. He always took care of his car which was always clean & fresh each time we started our day. From the valleys, to the mountains, the rivers, the forts, the temples, the nature preserve, the joy ride, the shops, trying their local beer, famous restaurants the locals frequent, the stone bath, the mountain cafe, the hikes, the lunches with stunning views, the history & culture, and more… so much in 7 days but it never felt overwhelming. If you’d like to experience an awe-inspiring, heart warming, magical experience filled with nature’s wonder with the depth of the human spirit, then you’d really enjoy Bhutan. From beginning to end, I am so happy that I went with Happy place expedition. By the end of the trip, it felt like we were leaving our Bhutan friends and family from Happy place expedition. We had so much fun! Thank you so much for such wonderful memories! We feel so blessed and lucky.

when I reached Bhutan, I felt a warm welcome to Bhutan. Bhutan is a beautiful country. The guide was so friendly. Moreover, this tour was amazing and unforgettable trip.

Where can I start! It all began with a dream and it came true with those wonderful people! From start to finish everything was organized well and tailored perfectly to our needs and demands. The planning was tough as I wasn’t aware of what to do in Bhutan but with the help of Nima and his patience and clear suggestions and recommendations it was all prepared. From picking up from the airport to being with us all the time and replying at anytime it was easy and comfortable. Our guide Sonam was great and briefed us with all information about the history & the drivers Jaimy & Suba were kind and humble as well. It was a wonderful 7 nights stay & I would say one of my best trips ever ( My wife & son agree too ). For sure this team will be recommended for all family & friends who plan to visit Bhutan.
