Our guide was so knowledgeable and attentive to ensure we had the best experience. Great learning for the whole family, at a relaxed pace.
This is an exceptional tour with a phenominal Tour Guide, Brian. The whole experience is interesting, well-planned and executed. The personal touches by both Brian the guide (who knows 6 languages and used 3 of them in our tour group) and the Bri Bri family is overwhelmingly special! The opportunity to learn and experience the Bri Bri way of life and chocolate making (with descriptions about ceremonial chocolate) was an intimate experience with mutual love and respect shared between our tour guide and the Bri Bri. The stop at the waterfall and fruit was a delightful way to end a wonderful day. While many of these types of tours are offered, do not hesitate to take this particular tour, you will not regret it! Thank you Brian, you are exceptional!
The tour to the cocoa plantation was a real highlight. Our German-speaking guide with Spanish-speaking owners guided through the plantation with a lot of knowledge and passion. We were allowed to taste fresh cocoa beans, make chocolate ourselves, chocolate drink, and learned a lot about the cultivation and importance of cocoa. Afterwards have a nice lunch and still bathe in a beautiful waterfall. A great experience in the middle of nature – warm, informative and delicious!
When Tamara learned about our mobility challenges, she quickly came up with a plan B. We had a great time and were so grateful to her for her flexibility
Was a really great tour! We learned so much from the guide and host family! Got to see coffee berries growing, and to follow the chocolate-making process from cacao fruit through to the dried beans that we shelled, cooked, and ground into a delicious paste. Lunch and the waterfall were an added bonus!
The guide was a wealth of information The host family were very friendly and helpful We skipped the waterfall but O am sure that would have been nice
Thank you for your kind words! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour and appreciated the friendliness of the host family. Hopefully, you’ll get a chance to experience the waterfall on your next visit!

This is the second tour we book with Tamara, we are simply speechless... The nature, the people and the way we are welcomed everywhere is simply priceless. We would like to thank the Sticos team for the wonderful experiences. My wife and I have always wanted to meet Indigenous people and get to know their way of life, culture and traditions better and with this tour that was possible. Thank you❤️
