It was amazing. Super door to door services. Excellent luggage handling to inside the room. Superb guides and staff. Need to do one day in life.
This trip is of upmost important to me since I was diagnosed with PD. This trip is basically catered for seniors and handicaps. The service was excellent with white clean table cloth covering you table before every meal. The sceneries were spectacular with mountains and valleys. It also told the stories of how and when it was built. It is worth the money to have this trip once in your lifetime. There were 14 cars but there were 3 empty seats in our car. Therefore it was not crowded and the attendants can pay attention to each passenger. Everyone was excited at the sceneries, especially we were told before they came to our eyes.
Thank you so much for sharing your meaningful and heartfelt experience with us. We are truly honored that this trip was able to bring you such special memories and comfort. It means a lot to know that you enjoyed the scenery, service, and overall experience throughout the journey. We’re especially happy to hear that the attentive service and comfortable arrangements helped make the trip enjoyable for you. Thank you again for choosing WESTAR Travel and for your kind recommendation. We sincerely wish you all the very best and hope to welcome you again in the future.
This train trip was amazing. The views of the mountains, waterfalls, lakes and autumn leaves were breathtaking. but it was the crew onboard the train that made this trip so memorable. Jacob, Caoimhe, Jacques and Desiree were the ones who took care of us in the Gold Leaf #2 train car. They not only made sure we were comfortable in every way on the train, they fed us constantly, and made sure we had all we needed to drink. But what made the trip so special was the stories they shared with us. Hearing Caoimhe's stories about Ireland, or Jacob's memories of his family's adventures in this area when he was a boy, Jacques and Desiree helping us during breakfast and lunch made this a very special vacation. Thank you!!!n I would suggest going on this trip in autumn to enjoy the changing leaves and experiencing a snowfall or two.
The 5-day Rocky Mountaineer journey from Vancouver to the Rockies is considered one of the most scenic train tours in the world. You get incredible views of mountains, rivers, and wildlife along the way, with comfortable seating and onboard service that makes the trip even more enjoyable. It’s a great option if you want a mix of relaxation and sightseeing without the stress of driving. For more travel tips and resources, you can also check:
We had a family of 6 who transited through the Canadian Rockies via the Rocky Mountaineer Train. The train ride was phenomenal, and the staff was A++. They were like clock work and made for a very enjoyable, relaxing journey. I can not tell you how beautiful the scenery was, you just have to see it for yourself!! The food was great, and they had several different choices of food for each meal. Be sure to take a medium thickness jacket as the temps in the train can be a bit chilly. Seating is very comfortable as well. I had a slight hiccup on my journey. However, Rocky Mountaineer staff went above and beyond their service. While we had to transit between the train and the coach line (our train ride was cut a little short due to a fire near our route, and we were bused the remainder of the way). Anyway, I left my phone on the bus. We contacted RM, and a representative assisted and located the phone and got it back to me within 1 day. I can not thank them enough for going out of their job description and providing grade "A" customer service. It was stressful until I learned they located the phone. Again, thank you so much, and I wish I could thank you in person!! I would highly recommend this for your next bucket list. Best wishes.
Too Expensive, train ran late everyday forcing us to miss all evening commitments. Leaving the train was as close to a car wreck as one can get. Food was not prepared correctly for those with allergies. Everyday they changed what was expected. We booked gold leaf service, never again
It was an amazing experience aboard the train. We booked the Gold Leaf service - highly recommend it. The views in the dome car, the meals in the dining car, the outstanding service, our hostess and team all made for the trip of a lifetime!
We had a wonderful time - and great staff. We had Jordan, Laure, Tina and Cali adn they were all wonderful...
Thank you, William, for the amazing review! We put in the work to keep you and all of our clients happy. We hope to see you again. Have a nice day ahead!
Trailfinders were marvelous in that they carried over our bookings from 2019 to 2022. Very reliable responses to questions coupled with practical. Two full days on the RM was the trip of a lifetime starting 1st July in Vancouver. Hotels were excellent. The rail trip itself in Gold Leaf was memorable especially as we had very clear weather. So many rivers, Mountains and waterfalls. Moose, Elk and Black Bears were all spotted on our holiday. Finished with The Calgary Stampede and Parade - a personal favourite.
I can't say enough about this trip. I loved the train. The staff onboard, Gillian, Alex and Holly were outstanding. So friendly and helpful. It was obvious that they loved their job. Lots of leg room while onboard. Washrooms were extremely clean. The food was wonderful and so much of it. The bus trips were great as well. Thank you to our bus drivers. Andrew and Mike. I have been recommending this trip to everyone since I arrived home.
