My wife and I took the 4-day tour from Las Vegas of 4 National Parks and 2 national monuments on Navajo land, which would otherwise be National Parks, in Arizona and Utah. Our tour guide was Xaio and we traveled with six others in a Mercedes Sprinter van with plush comfortable seats and oversized windows for maximum viewing. Xaio was friendly, very accommodating, a careful driver, and a good improviser changing the order of the itinerarey to avoid forecasted inclement weather. Each site we visited was unique and a "must see". We started at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon stopping in two places for almost 4 hours to explore the South Rim offering breathtaking views and almost 3 miles of walking. On day 2, we took the Antelope Canyon tour (either upper or lower – your choice), which was gorgeous and very educational. The guide was a Navajo young man who was engaging and willing to take striking photos of each party that we would never have known about. We then took an optional boat ride on Powell Lake thanks to Xaio ($80 per person) and finished the day hiking up to a cliff overlooking Horseshoe Bend to watch a beautiful sunset. On day 3, we took a 3 hour Monument Valley tour in a dilapidated 12-person open vehicle over terribly bumpy roads that would give chiropractors enough work for a year. However, the extensive ride around the Valley gave us great views and photo opportunities of some key monuments from both sides. We finished the day visiting Arches NP for a quick tour of the upper “windows” (round openings in the rock formations), including one double arch. We sat below a round window as the sun set and illuminated the western rock formation containing the double arch. Very beautiful. (Note: The more famous arches like the one pictured here are in the Devil’s Garden, which we did not have the time to consider, nor do I know if we were up to the strenuous hike.) On the last day, we visited Bryce Canyon NP that included two stops to walk the canyon rim to view a truly amazing place – nothing like it on earth! We then visited Zion NP for a wonderful conclusion to the trip. The drive down to the park floor went from the east side to the west through a 1.1 mile tunnel built in the 1930’s and passed by amazingly high cliffs. We stopped at three scenic spots taking photos and soaking up Zion's beauty. Overall, a fantastic trip at a great value. Total travel time was approx. 24 hours (to drive back and forth through 2 states) and total sightseeing time was approx. 20 hours. We highly recommend this tour to those who want to visit a good number of historic sites that you cannot afford to spend a full day at each! Only two criticisms: Could find better choices for lunch stops, and Super 8 is a terrible hotel choice for such a great tour. The hotel offers the bare minimum in comfort and a terrible “breakfast” that is listed as “included in tour” (basically, no meals are included). For a few smart dollars more, this tour could be perfect if it offered more comfortable accommodations with a “real hot” breakfast.
This was an amazing, scenic tour we enjoyed immensely. The 4 day guided excursion highlighted Antelope & Grand Canyon, in addition to the Bryce, Zion and Arches National Parks and other sites. These renowned locations and views were breathtaking. Our tour guide, Subi, was wonderful. He was very polite, knowledgeable, professional, and experienced with this adventure and took the extra effort to insure all clients were treated with courtesy and comfort. Highly recommend! AAA+
The tour was good. Was disappointed in the lack of hiking activities and healthy food options to eat but aside from that the overall tour was great. However, I was the only person who spoke English, It was all Chinese immigrants ( that isnt a problem persea but the guide had to say everything teice to accompdate me) One of the girls told me that she specifically picked fhe tour so there WOULDN'T be any Americans on it. She was under the impression that it was for chinese people only. Which was off putting because I am an american and there wasnt any specifications on vistor that it was specifically a chinese tour. But I spent a majority of the trip talking to the guide and keeping to myself. The guide was awesome, gave us plenty of photos opportunities and the landscapes were beautiful.
Yang was a fantastic tour guide, effortlessly slipping between Mandarin and English to explain the fabulous sights. The natural beauty was amazing.
Our guide Jason was very nice and considerable, I traveled with my parents and he took good care of us. The car was spacious and comfortable with bottled water everyday.
5 out of 5 only for Yeung, our driver and tour guide. He worked really hard and was lovely. He should get a raise! My concerns would be - long travel days which meant long driving days for 1 driver to do, and the van seats were cramped. The destinations were incredible and worth it!
We did a 3-day Utah–Arizona Canyon tour, and the views were absolutely stunning. The highlight was having an amazing tour guide — Xiao ai. He is super professional, thoughtful, easy-going, and even surprisingly a fantastic photographer too! 🌄📸 I looked way cooler in the photos he took than I do in real life! He tweaked the itinerary based on our needs, which made everything even better. My mom really liked him too, and I ended up making a good friend! Honestly, Xiao ai is the best tour guide I’ve ever met!👍 Also, our group vibe was great. Everyone got along so well. The whole trip was smooth, chill, and just super enjoyable. If it’s your first time visiting or you’re traveling with family like me, I’d definitely recommend this route!
If you only have four days to experience the American West, this itinerary is highly recommended. Our guide Ai is very familiar with the local tourist attractions and food, not only took us through all the must-play items, but also helped us take very satisfying life photos, until the last day will be endless, in any case this trip without any regrets, and next time will choose to explore Yellowstone with guide Ai!
I went on this trip with my family. The trip was amazing even though the weather is kinda burning. We met a nice guide Ai and also met lovely people who were sharing the same trip with us.
Our guide Ai has been a responsible, caring, and passionate person. Perfect driving and communication skills! Ai respected his customers' wishes and guided us to places where we requested to take amazing photos. Besides the service, the trip itself has also been fascinating. Very impressive sceneries from the nature. March was also a good time to visit due to the nice weather. Overall a wonderful trip and memorable spring break!
