My Third Amazing Journey with The Great Adventure Treks This was my third trip with The Great Adventure Treks, and once again they exceeded all my expectations. During this journey, I experienced two incredible destinations: the beautiful Kingdom of Bhutan and the mystical Upper Mustang region of Nepal. Our Bhutan tour was a wonderful 4 Nights and 5 Days adventure filled with cultural experiences, stunning monasteries, peaceful landscapes, and the warm hospitality of the Bhutanese people. Every aspect of the trip was perfectly organized, allowing us to enjoy the beauty and traditions of this unique Himalayan kingdom without any worries. The highlight of our Nepal adventure was the 9-day Upper Mustang Tour combined with the famous Tiji Festival. Visiting Upper Mustang felt like stepping back in time. The ancient monasteries, traditional villages, dramatic desert landscapes, and rich Tibetan Buddhist culture made the journey truly unforgettable. Attending the Tiji Festival was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The colorful masked dances, sacred rituals, and spiritual atmosphere provided a deep insight into the region’s unique heritage and traditions. From airport transfers to accommodations, transportation, permits, guides, and daily arrangements, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Had a wonderful trip from start to finish! Mani made the entire booking process easy and seamless. He was super quick to respond and helped coordinate airport transfers/stays before and after the trip. Chandra was my guide. He went above and beyond to always make sure I was comfortable, enjoying my trip, and most importantly having fun. I especially enjoyed our periodic dance breaks lol Dhurba was my porter and carried our bags, always with a big smile. He was super kind and a joy to have on the trip. All around highly recommend! This was my first trek, but won’t be my last. Hope to be back for a longer trek in the future.

I can't recommend Great Adventure Treks enough, but specifically our guide Padam was absolutely brilliant. He was such a lovely guy, really friendly and personable and gave us so much interesting information about Nepal and the mountain region. My online research led me to this company due to their existing great reviews. I booked direct with Mani and he communicated via WhatsApp, the whole process was very easy and I would recommend the company (and especially Padam) to anyone.

I did the trek with my partner and our friend and we had the most amazing time. Padam was an amazing guide! He was very attentive and always wanted to make sure we were having a good time even when we looked like we weren’t he was constantly checking up on us that we were okay and enjoying ourselves (smiling through the pain)! He suggested an alteration to the route so that we got to go to the Hot Springs which made our trek! The tea houses we stayed in were selected by Padam and they were great choices. Padam was also so informative and we learnt so much about Nepal from him. Arun and Bim (I’m not sure if spelt correctly) were our Sherpas and they were also so lovely and great fun!

We had an amazing experience with Padam doing the four day poon hill trek. We stayed in incredible accommodations , and Padam was flexible with our route based on what we wanted. Both him and the Sherpas were very friendly and attentive.

This 4-day poon hill - Landruk - Kande walks around, the tour guide was very well cared for. The first experience with an umbrella is great. The next 2 days in Sedmonton for a second city tour (5 points) is worth experiencing.

I recently did the classic Ghorepani–Poon Hill–Tadapani–Ghandruk trek over 3-4 days, and it was one of the most rewarding short treks I’ve ever experienced in Nepal. A big reason it went so smoothly was our tour guide, Mr. Binod—professional, friendly, and very attentive throughout the journey. Day 1: Start to Ghorepani The trail was a mix of stone steps, forest paths, and small villages. It was challenging at times (especially the uphill sections), but the views and atmosphere kept it exciting. Mr. Binod managed the pace really well—never rushed, always checking on the group and making sure everyone stayed comfortable. Day 2: Poon Hill Sunrise + Trek to Tadapani The early morning hike to Poon Hill was absolutely worth it. Watching the sunrise light up the Himalayas—Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges—was unforgettable. Mr. Binod timed everything perfectly so we reached the viewpoint at the right moment and helped with photo spots too. After sunrise, we continued toward Tadapani, passing through beautiful rhododendron forests and quiet mountain trails. The day was long but scenic, and the guide kept us motivated with breaks at the right times. Day 3: Tadapani to Ghandruk This section felt like a perfect balance—great views, peaceful walking, and a cultural highlight. Ghandruk was charming, with traditional houses, mountain backdrops, and a calm village vibe. Mr. Binuth shared helpful local context and made the experience feel more meaningful than just “walking from point A to B.” (Optional) Day 4: Extra Day / Flexible Finish If you do this trek in 4 days, it becomes much more relaxed—more time for rest, photos, and enjoying the villages without feeling rushed.
