La Garden Route è un piccolo angolo di paradiso nascosto sulla costa orientale del Sud Africa. Il nostro tour di 4 giorni comprende i punti salienti della zona e gli splendidi paesaggi. Questo è perfetto per coloro che non hanno molto tempo ma desiderano sperimentare la famosa Garden Route insieme a molte delle sue attività!

Itinerario
Parti da Città del Capo alle 6 del mattino e dirigiti verso Oudtshoorn nella zona semidesertica di Little Karoo, che è anche la capitale mondiale degli struzzi. Questo viaggio segue la famosa Route 62, la strada del vino più lunga del mondo! Visiteremo le Grotte di Cango per un tour attraverso questo magnifico sistema di grotte e visiteremo anche un allevamento di struzzi per dare un'occhiata più da vicino a questo enorme uccello. Stasera staremo a Oudtshoorn e cenare con un delizioso struzzo. (Cena)
Lasciando Oudtshoorn attraverseremo la catena montuosa fino alla costa e alla splendida Garden Route. La nostra prima tappa è il belvedere panoramico della "mappa dell'Africa" nel deserto e poi partiamo per Knysna (votata costantemente come la città preferita del Sudafrica). Qui visiteremo le teste di Knysna, il lungomare, i mercati ed esploreremo a fondo. Dopo Knysna attraversiamo Plettenberg Bay dove pernotteremo a Storms River Village
Il magnifico Tsitsikamma National Park ci aspetta questa mattina. Onde tonanti, fitta foresta, abbondanza di uccelli e lontre, questo Parco Nazionale ha tutto! Percorri la strada costiera fino al ponte sospeso sulla foce del fiume Storms e scopri cosa rende questo parco più panoramico del Sudafrica Dall'Eastern Cape, torniamo verso la Garden Route e verso il Bungy Bridge più alto del mondo a Bloukrans (un sacco di tempo per saltare per chi ama il brivido). Questo bungy alto 216 m è una vera meraviglia da vedere, anche per chi ha paura dell'altezza! Il nostro viaggio ci porta al Garden Route Game Lodge dove pernotteremo anche in alloggi di lusso. Faremo un safari nel tardo pomeriggio dove avremo l'opportunità di vedere rinoceronti, leoni, bufali, ghepardi e molte varietà di specie di antilopi. Una ricca e variegata cena a buffet viene servita al lodge ed è un altro punto forte! (Colazione, Cena)
Iniziamo la giornata presto con un safari mattutino per vedere alcuni di quegli animali che non abbiamo visto la sera prima. ci dirigiamo verso Hermanus e il miglior sito di whale watching al mondo (giugno-dicembre). Le balene franche australi stanno facendo un drammatico ritorno dopo essersi quasi estinte solo 50 anni fa. Ritorniamo a Città del Capo nel tardo pomeriggio attraverso la splendida costa di False Bay, dove con un po' di fortuna vedremo alcuni delfini darci il benvenuto a casa. (Colazione)

Quite a personalized tour. Mawande had been punctual, courteous, patient and very knowledgeable about the entire route... would recommend.
We had a lovely trip with Mawande! He knows a lot about history, nature and the culture in SA. We did a lot of fun activities and when I had to go to the hospital Mawande was really helpful which I really appreciated. Also all the accommodations where we stayed at were very nice. Next time I will travel with him again, thank you for all the pictures, driving us around all day and the fun dinner table conversations!
What a fantastic experience. Our amazing guide Mawande was so professional, knowledgeable and took such great care of us. The tour itself was great and packed so much in a limited time - the highlight for sure has to be the Garden Route Game Reserve - an incredible accommodation and experience. Highly recommend and if you’re lucky you may end up with Mawande as your guide :)

We booked a guide for a four-day tour along the garden route and were very lucky to be on the road with Mawande. He has done his job really excellently and attentively attended to our needs all the time. He drove to all the planned stations reliably and not only brought us safely from place to place, but also showed us many additional things and explained them that made our trip even more interesting. You can tell that he really goes out of his way to give his guests a special experience. Being on the road with Mawande was a lot of fun. His friendly, cheerful manner made the tour very enjoyable. He was always courteous, helpful and extremely dedicated to giving us a nice time. We can fully recommend both the tour and Mawande as a guide.
Vaughan was THE BEST guide ever for our trip! We don't usually take guided trips but we were so pleased that we had this time. We saw everything we wanted, laughed and learned loads. This tour was a great way to get a taste of the garden route! Our guide, Dylan, was highly informative, attentive and entertaining! Dylan ensured everyone was comfortable, had a good time and got the most out of this trip. The itinerary was very well planned, just enough to keep the days busy and diverse without feeling rushed. The accommodations, breakfasts and dinners were great and the safari game drives were a special experience. I would highly recommend anyone short on time to do this tour!

We had a fantastic 4 day Garden Route trip with Mawande, our excellent driver guide. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and we learnt so much about South Africa. He made our trip truly unforgettable! The scenery is very beautiful with vineyards, mountains and coastal views. The highlight of the trip was the Garden Route Game lodge and safari. I would highly recommend this trip and definitely ask for Mawande. He was truly amazing.
Mawande - what a fantastic, incredible, gifted tour guide. He is legendary - an absolute first class man: professional, punctual and personable! He honestly made this trip the highlight of our stay in South Africa. He was across all the details, full of knowledge about the route and all the destinations and a great driver too! The 4 day tour was amazing- we loved Tsitikamma and the Game lodge. The accommodation was really good and each stop offered a different perspective on this multi-faceted country. From ostrich farms, suspension bridges, African penguins to the Big 5 - we covered it all! But honestly, if you’re doing this tour - you need to ask for Mawande as he is an exceptional tour guide and I can’t imagine doing this trip without him.
