On the day of departure, unfortunately, no one came to pick us up; we had to communicate via WhatsApp with a Swedish phone number and learned that an accident had happened and unfortunately no replacement vehicle could be found in Cairo (?!). We rescheduled the trip by one day, but had to shorten it from 4 to 3 days because of our upcoming return flight. At first, there were no answers to my questions regarding a partial refund to Emo Tours Sweden; only a message directly to Viator resulted in a refund of a little less than €10. The trip itself, however, was truly fantastic; the tour guide Sayed took care of us like an older brother, catered to our needs and interests, and made the trip a very special experience. Since I celebrated my 50th birthday there, he even got me a cake, party poppers, and music and completely surprised me. Everyone in the Siwa Oasis was super friendly, and the place is magical and paradisiacal. Despite the initial difficulties, it was one of the best trips of my life. At this point - warm greetings to Sayed and once again many thanks and all the best for the future!
