Trip was amazing! Guide Thoreys was exceptional. She was very entertaining and informative. She resolved any issues rapidly. Was very organized. Booked meals in advance so we could stay on track throughout the 4 days. Scenery was stunning. Would have enjoyed a few less stops and more time at some of the stops like Dimmobogur. The whole tour exceeded expectations.
The tour of the ring road was excellent. Jam packed days. Filled with great commentary by Thori our guide and driver.
Iceland is truly stunning!! We booked the 6 day tour with Nice Travel and had Þórey as our tour guide. I don't think we could have made a better choice. The sight seeing was unbelievable, the hotels were clean and comfortable, and the food all along the tour was exquisite! Þórey was knowledable, funny, and provided the perfect amount of information along the tour (even her music playlist was perfect). It's hard to believe we were able to see and do as much as we did in such a short amount of time. My 73 year old Mom took me on this trip and she was able to do all of the activities with ease.
Our first tour guide was great and informative in July 18. He was humorous and energetic. I think his name was Ari. The next four days we were guided by Thorer and she was also exceptional. Her added personal touches in making our experience welcomed and truly Icelandic was appreciated. Ensuring we had great hotels with wonderful food options. She took the time to pre order food ahead of time for our group to keep us moving along. She was humorous approachable and real. She is a keeper! We got an impressive number of experiences as part of this trip.

Gulli is really a talented and humorous guide I ever met! He can tell us a lot of stories and the history of his country proudly, maybe sometimes with jokes. I will miss him after the tour with his guidance, well, maybe just for 45 minutes(^^)

The Ring Road tour was incredible. I had an amazing time. Having Gulli was a blessing; I genuinely could not imagine a better tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable and has a sense of humor and very personable. We were joking with each other the whole time. Everything in Iceland is pretty expensive, but if I can afford this trip, anybody can. I’m here for a whole week and I packed in as much stuff to see as I can, but this trip got the majority of it. We had a crowd of people on our trip but I genuinely believe it made the experience better. Getting to know everybody and see all these things with other travelers just made it that much better. I WILL be back for you, Iceland!
