Cinthya was great! She was very informative about the history and food of La Paz. We had a variety of tastings and got to tour a local market. She also gave us tips about restaurants and attractions in the area. We will definitely recommend this tour!
There were three stops for food (Drinks not included). The first stop was for fish tacos. It was just ok. At the second stop, we ordered a quesadilla and a pupusa. Nothing different from what you can buy in the States. Per my request, we didn't go to the last stop, which was for burritos. I was already stuffed by now after just one hour of eating. Alex was very nice and friendly though. A food tour but he did go over the history of the town a bit. If you are willing to go off the tourist areas along the water and venture deeper inside, you could do all this on your own. At least I explored the local food scene here.
What a great experience. Our guide Geovany was fluent in English and very culturally informative. Our son has autism and Geovany was very kind patient and safety aware. The walk was nice and we got to see things we wouldn't have found roaming around ourselves. The food was tasty and there was always a selection. Great 3 hours ...
This is our first visit to La Paz. Amazing tour! Excellent food along a nice walk with great conversation. Well worth it!!
Such an informative and delicious experience. Loved learning the history of the food we tried and experience places frequented by locals.
One of our favorite experiences during our visit to La Paz. Cinthya was a fantastic guide, we not only enjoyed amazing and unique food - but the cultural history and stories behind the food. The amount of food was perfect at each stop, we felt like we got our monies worth without being stuffed. And, be prepared to walk - which we really enjoyed the time to sightsee, visit with Cinthya, and walk off some calories. 10/10 would do this again!
Christina was an excellent host, guiding my friend and I on a morning tour exploring La Paz street food offerings. I really enjoyed how she wove each type of food into the historical culture of the city!
Our beach activity for the day was cancelled due to wind so we reached out at the last minute and we were able to join the day time food tour of La Paz. Cynthia was our guide and did a great job showing us around the town teaching us the history and took us to several spots to try local delicacies. This is a must do early on your trip to give you a great understanding of the town and what it has available. The food scene here is amazing and we really enjoyed every place they took us to. We loved it so much we joined the taco tour that evening.
Cynthia was great! Lots of walking (almost 11,000 steps) on uneven pavement. Go hungry! We stopped in 6 different places, 4 for food (small places you would never find on your own) and 2 were for drinks unique to La Paz. We stopped at the City Market and also saw lots of historic sites. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time with Alex and Juan Pablo! We learned so much and had tasty food as well. I highly recommend this tour!
