Ammira le tartarughe Caretta Caretta, l'area delle grotte di Keri, la grande grotta sull'isola delle tartarughe e l'incantevole spiaggia sabbiosa dell'isolotto di Marathonisi Barche confortevoli con numero limitato di ospiti e posti a sedere per tutti. Solo 23 posti a sedere, le barche hanno tutte posti a sedere ombreggiati, prendisole posteriore e fondo in vetro. Ti consigliamo di acquistare bevande e snack a Laganas prima della partenza. Incantevole isolotto dell'isola di Marathonisi Sosta per nuotare nella bellissima spiaggia sabbiosa. Marathonissi è una piccola isola privata nella baia delle tartarughe vicino alla spiaggia di Limni Kerì. Fino alla seconda guerra mondiale l'isola era abitata, oggi non ha né abitanti né edifici. Oggi è una delle zone dove le tartarughe CARETTA CARETTA vanno a riprodursi.
La prima tappa sarà alle Grotte di Keri, un posto fantastico, prima tappa per nuotare Le Grotte di Kerì, accessibili solo via mare con imbarcazioni private o con le nostre escursioni, si sviluppano lungo il promontorio di Capo Marathia, nella zona Sud-Ovest dell'isola. Lungo la costa ci sono molte grotte il cui ingresso è appena sufficiente per entrare a nuoto, altre sono abbastanza larghe per entrarci direttamente con una barca. E' molto facile raggiungere le grotte che sono sormontate da scogliere dove il mare è molto profondo e come tali raggiungibili.
Avvistamento delle tartarughe: iniziando con l'avvistamento delle tartarughe appena fuori nella baia di Laganas La tartaruga Caretta Caretta è un esemplare che vive ancora nel Mediterraneo ed è possibile incontrarla lì poiché depone le uova lungo le spiagge del Golfo di Laganas. Possono avere dimensioni considerevoli (il più grande pesa 140 kg. e misura circa 120 cm mentre il più piccolo misura 80 cm.) ma nonostante ciò sono molto veloci. Grazie alle grandi pinne anteriori e alle rigide pinne posteriori possono raggiungere i 30 km orari e così proteggersi da eventuali pericoli.

There was nothing special to see. Marathonisi beach was just an ordinary beach. Maybe, because of the very windy weather we could not see the alleged crystal clear waters. And if you want to see more interesting sea caves better prefer the ones at the north of the island, near the shipwreck beach.
Arrival was chaos. Huge queue, panics that there wasn't enough space on the boat. Another one thankfully arrived. Once on the boat, we were taken to the 1st stop. We were informed we would be there for 1.5 hours, which on the face of it was good, however in the blistering August heat with no shade, it wasn't ideal with young children. We then spent the last 30 mins going to see some caves a 5 minute dip off the boat and 5 mins to see the sea turtle. Both guides were great although the company's arrangements were chaotic. It was more like a ferry service We would recommend it but with the 3 hours fairly spaces out
The sighting of the turtle in the sea and also the beach of the turtle island are the best part of the tour The caves were nothing special
It's nice that only 25 people go on the boat, that's what we pay close attention to. El Capitano, with his great Dagobert Duck swimsuit, had a smile on his face the whole ride. With great pleasure he showed us all the beautiful places. We had a great afternoon!
Beautiful experience 😍, the captain, besides being very nice, made us live an unforgettable experience, seeing the turtles and the excitement of the children was beautiful

Very nice tour, the captain really made an effort to let us spot the turtles, and he was very kind.
We had a fantastic time on this excursion. The boat trip was well organised, amazing scenery around with crystal-clear water. Seeing the turtles in their natural habitat was the highlight of the trip, and visiting Marathonissi Island was a wonderful experience. There are places to grab a cocktail and ice cream on the island visit. The staff were amazing, friendly, professional and very efficient throughout the whole trip. They made everyone feel welcome and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. One tip for future visitors: if you plan on swimming from the boat to the island and are not a confident swimmer, or you have children with you, it is worth bringing your own life jackets, armbands or floatation aids to make the experience more enjoyable and comfortable. Overall, this was an excellent excursion and great value for money. If you are visiting Zante, I would highly recommend this trip. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5
