2 - Safari di un giorno al Parco Nazionale del Lago Mburo

Inizierai il tuo viaggio guidando da Kampala al Parco Nazionale del Lago Mburo, che dura circa 4 - 5 ore. Durante il tragitto, ti fermerai all'Equatore dell'Uganda, una linea speciale che divide la Terra nelle metà settentrionale e meridionale. Qui, puoi stare con un piede in ogni metà, scattare foto e guardare come l'acqua gira in modo diverso su ogni lato della linea. È anche possibile visitare piccoli negozi per acquistare artigianato locale. Dopo questa sosta, continuerete verso il vostro lodge. Più tardi, farai un game drive serale per vedere animali come zebre, impala, bufali, facoceri e forse anche leopardi o iene. Il secondo giorno, dopo colazione, sceglierete di andare in bicicletta su appositi sentieri nel parco o di fare una passeggiata guidata con un ranger. Entrambi i modi ti permettono di avvicinarti ad animali come giraffe, zebre e antilopi mentre impari a conoscere le piante e gli animali intorno a te. Dopo l'attività mattutina, tornerete al lodge per il pranzo e poi inizierete il viaggio di ritorno a Entebbe o Kampala

Friendly guide, unforgettable abundance of beautiful animals, accommodation in a tent with climatic restaurant. Nice food and sharing the culture. I was taken care of on every step. My advice if you are visiting on low season you will feel luxurious! :)

It was a great time during the two days at Lake Mburo NP. On our way to the park we stopped at the equator to get the effects of changing from one hemisphere to the other one shown. Even before entering the park we could see the first zebras. Then in the park the walking safari was great because the ranger made it possible that you can walk just next to giraffes. The night game drive was fun although you are not seeing as many animals as during the night because there is only the rangers spotlight. We were happy because we got the chance to see a whole herd of hyenas. The cycling safari the next morning was wonderful. You are just riding in the middle of antelopes, zebras, warthogs or giraffes. Also the stay at Rwakobo Rock was beautiful with its cottages and of course the nice view from the hill.
