In questo tour cammineremo attraverso gli angoli più emblematici di Cadice e vi racconterò l'affascinante storia nascosta nella città più antica dell'Occidente, allietata da storie curiose e aneddoti della città. Nel corso di queste 2 ore e mezza, imparerai come identificare la casa di uno spedizioniere indiano, scoprirai alcune delle gemme del nostro patrimonio nascoste in bella vista e scoprirai perché Cadice era l'unica città in Spagna in cui Napoleone non poteva entrare, tra molte altre cose! Dal nostro punto di incontro accanto al municipio, in Plaza San Juan de Dios, lasciate che vi guidi attraverso i nostri 3000 anni di storia in modo dinamico e divertente in modo che possiate conoscere meglio Cadice oggi e il ruolo di primo piano che abbiamo avuto in passato, facendo una sosta speciale per parlare di "La Pepa", la prima Costituzione spagnola del 1812.

Questo è il punto di partenza da cui inizieremo con una breve spiegazione sulla Storia di Cadice e le prime civiltà che vivono qui.
Visiteremo la zona medievale e il quartiere più antico di Cadice chiamato "Pópulo" che è stato costruito nel XIII secolo e dove troveremo alcuni importanti beni come il teatro romano, la più antica casa del mercante e la Cattedrale Vecchia
In questa sosta vedremo la facciata principale della Nuova Cattedrale di Cadice e imparerai a conoscere la sua costruzione
Vi mostrerò uno dei posti preferiti della gente del posto che è il mercato di alimenti freschi. Mi prenderò del tempo per parlare di gastronomia locale e vi darò qualche consiglio.
Visiteremo il quartiere dei mercanti, le strade più belle e di lusso di Cadice. Imparerai come riconoscere la casa di un Merchant e qual è l'uso di ogni piano.
La nostra tappa finale in Plaza de España. Scoprirai uno dei momenti più importanti di Cadice, e perché Era l'unica città libera della Spagna quando Napoleone invase il nostro paese.

Booking was a bit of a faff and the ticket delivery on poor WiFi is a hassle BUT the Tour was brilliant! V was an excellent tour guide - informative, interesting and full of useful info. Well paced in the summer heat of Cádiz. All round a good intro to this interesting city.

When we visit a new place, we normally sign up for a walking tour to get into the spirit of the place, and it was an excellent decision with our visit to Cádiz. Our guide, Victoria, was very welcoming, engaging and knowledgeable, with plenty of relatable personal anecdotes blended into the more formal historical and social content. Highly recommended.

Cadiz is a small city with lots of interesting history. Our guide, Victoria, was terrific. She kept control of the group while navigating the various sites and gave us lots of extra information like places to eat and mingle with locals. We learned so much more than we could have on our own, and enjoyed the company of other travelers.
