Il municipio medievale di Gouda è uno dei più belli dell'Olanda! Trascorriamo del tempo qui per fotografare e ovviamente vi raccontiamo la storia di questo fantastico edificio. Camminiamo per il mercato per circa 15 minuti.
Gouda è famosa nel mondo per il suo formaggio. Ci fermiamo davanti alla Pesa e c'è tempo per fotografarla e racconteremo alcuni fatti divertenti sul formaggio Gouda e sulla Pesa. Restiamo qui circa 5 fino a 10 minuti.
Attraversiamo il turfmarkt con i suoi edifici unici e raccontiamo qualcosa sulla storia di questo canale.
Il monumento che passeremo anche accanto sono i visbanken. Era un luogo per il commercio del pesce (Haring e Salmon). Tempo per le immagini e alcuni fatti divertenti. Resteremo qui per circa 5 minuti.
Passeremo accanto al Gouwekerk, che prende il nome dal fiume Gouwe.
Ovviamente ci fermeremo al museo Gouda! Vi parlerò della storia del museo. Perché è così bello vedere i piccoli canali e ovviamente St. Jan resteremo qui per circa 15 minuti.

The heatwave was overwhelming and the government advice was to stay home as even the shops were closing in Holland. Aged 70 and in onset 38 degrees, we became unwell and took the advice that a walking tour would be too much. I requested to rearrange our tour a week later. No replies to 3 emails. Just ignored, just SO rude. I complained but the seller still wouldn't honour the tour time change, because we had requested it 23 hrs before expiry, not 24. Fair enough but clearly, they have so many customers, that they couldn't give a monkey's about us. Rather keep £30 and receive bad feedback. It was exceptional in the heatwave and we don't have spare funds to book it again. I asked twice. No thanks Trip Advisor. No more of our business. TA: you should have overridden this and shown occasional kindness.
Susanne makes Gouda come alive! She is a fun loving, warmhearted local guide who makes you look @ old buildings in a new way with her stories & love for her city. Definitely recommended!

Our local guide was very welcoming and gracious. Suzanna offered insights to history, customs, food and dining. She customized the tour to our interests ending up back at our hotel. We even went to a cheese shop at our request and tasted samples while learning about the different types. It was a wonderful and memorable tour!
Wow is all I can say... But I will try to do a bit better. We had the most amazing walking tour in Gouda. This is not a normal walking tour, this is instead a chance to walk the streets with a real resident and experience the city. To my wife and I we felt more like meeting up with a long lost friend. I can't say enough good words about our experience. If you want to learn facts and dates about Gouda you can do that and you will - but even better you will get to really communicate in a meaningful way with a local. BOOK a walk NOW! Price was a bargain and the walk size is kept very small.

Very nice city walk with a guide who looks at the city with different eyes and who makes it very personal. Suzanne is a warm and friendly personality and that shows in the tour.
