My hubby and kids had a great time. All instructors were amazing and gave individual instruction and attention to all of them. Oka was amazing - he primarily worked with my 8 year old keeping him safe the whole time.

The coach was super experienced and asked about my surf level before we got in the water, which really helped. The lesson was so much fun — I even gave cross-stepping a shot!

I surfed at a camp in Morocco last year, but my experience at Lokalsurf in Bali has been on another level. Oka, the coach, really understands my weaknesses and helped me improve more in just 3 sessions. The waves here are incredible—some of the best I’ve ever surfed—and since Oka is a local in Canggu, I was able to catch a ton of waves. Can’t recommend this place enough! Best spot to surf in Bali!

We were a group of 5 trying surfing for the very first time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience than what we had with Lokal Surf Bali. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome and completely at ease. The introduction before hitting the water was super clear and helpful — they really took the time to explain everything so we felt confident and safe. Once we got into the ocean, the instructors were incredibly attentive, supportive, and fun. Huge thanks to Oka and his amazing team for being so patient and encouraging with all of us. They genuinely cared about making sure each of us had a great time and actually caught some waves. Honestly, we can’t imagine a better surf school. If you’re thinking about learning to surf in Bali, this is the place to go!

Please book it if you are still hesitant by your prior unpleasant experience or feel insecure if you have no experience before. I promised myself this would be the last shot for surfing, given I had 3 lessons before in Taiwan and Dreamland beach, tbh, it’s quite frustrated. However, the coaches here are VERY experienced and would give you super clear instructions and tailored suggestions. Unlike other lessons, they have one coach for each even you book for two, which made me feel really secured and enabled me to enjoy 100% in the sea and surfing. Highly recommended for those who have 0 experience with surfing or not feeling any progress for the beginners.

Such a wonderful surfing experience with the team. We are just very beginners and haven’t managed to stand on the board for over 10 seconds before or even standed. We had 3 trial lessons before in Taiwan and Uluwatu, but never had such a detailed and tailored instructions. The coaches are patient and very experienced on how to guide the beginners. Please book it if you are frustrated with your surfing experience before or even with 0 experience. The teams will make you safe and the most important of all, you will have a lot of fun from it!
