Great experience – highly recommended!
We had a fantastic time on the 2-hour Polar Fishing Adventure! None of us had any real fishing experience, but everything was explained very clearly and patiently, so we quickly understood what to do.
My dad even caught a huge cod, which was definitely one of the highlights of the trip! 😊 The cod was then cooked right on the boat, so we even got to taste our freshly caught fish.
Warm insulated suits were provided, so we stayed comfortable throughout the trip. The two hours flew by – it was fun, relaxed and a wonderful way to experience the fjord.
We really enjoyed the whole experience and would absolutely recommend it!

Unpredictable cancellation
Booked months in advance but operator cancelled it the day before departure, offering a much longer tour instead. Very disappointing.

Dear guest, you were given several options.
In the low season it may be that we have too few guests to carry out the tour, in which case we offer several options at no extra cost.
You chose not to accept any of the options which was a great shame as we caught many fish during the slightly longer tour.

Fabulous day on the water
This was a fabulous tour from start to finish. Thomas and Jack ‘sparrow’ were fabulous hosts, from spotting White Tailed Eagles, fishing and raising their crab pot to find a King Crab. Thomas cooked the fish we caught and served it to everyone. Great day out on the water.

Fantastic experience. I...
Fantastic experience. I have done a couple of tours with this company (Polar Adventures) and this family run business looks after you and is very welcoming. We were able to bring our 7 month old baby on board so we could enjoy the experience together as a family. The on-demand tea/coffee/hot chocolate is wonderful to keep you warm and enjoying the artic experience. Also cooking up some of the fish the group caught, so you can try on board, was a fun and yummy culinary experience! If you love fishing you will love this!

Must Do!
Fantastic experience. Very easy to find and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The scenery is unbelievable and the staff cooked some of the fish that we caught ourselves - that tasted so good.

Successful fishing trip!
We caught fish! Our captain and host were so friendly and accommodating. We got to eat our catch. I love that it was a small group only. My boys loved the cookies.

Family fishing
Nice sea trip. Fishing takes place close to the port so very little navigation. The driver and the attendant are very kind.
Ideal for children.

Confirm that the boats aren’t broken before you pay
The guides were kind and helpful and the views were lovely. All 3 hours were dedicated to fishing which is exactly what I was looking for.
HOWEVER - I think the tour operator should have known better than to to take the ship out with a broken bathroom and broken radar…

Wonderful boat captain and fishing guide
A full three hours of fishing looking back on the mountains with good equipment and only 12 guests on the boat. Our guide Petter was so friendly and helpful especially when we caught lots of cod and haddock. Hot drinks and biscuits on the boat were nice but the real treat was fresh cod cooked and served for us from our catch! A very enjoyable experience for beginners to more experienced.

Great experience!
It’s an excellent tour. The guides, itinerary, and our luck was great. The clean Norwegian water and the great view played a big part in making this tour a memorable one.
