La sua nave attracca ad Alessandria, ma le piramidi sono al Cairo, circa 2,5 ore nell'entroterra. Questo tour notturno ti offre due giorni senza fretta nella capitale invece di un'estenuante corsa. Il primo giorno vi porterà all'altopiano di Giza per la Grande Piramide di Khufu, la Sfinge e il Tempio della Valle, quindi al Museo Egizio, con un pernottamento in un hotel del Cairo. Il secondo giorno si sposta attraverso il Cairo islamico: la Cittadella di Saladino, la Moschea di alabastro di Muhammad Ali, e le viuzze della città vecchia, prima del ritorno alla vostra nave. La tua Guida privata e l'autista modellano entrambi i giorni intorno al tuo orario di navigazione. Due giorni, una notte e tempo reale in ogni sito piuttosto che una corsa contro il tempo. Giorno 1 guida verso l'interno fino all'altopiano di Giza, dove ti trovi ai piedi della Grande Piramide di Khufu e ammiri tutte e tre le piramidi con il tuo egittologo.
Accanto alle piramidi si incontra la Grande Sfinge, il guardiano dal corpo di leone ricavato da un unico costone calcareo, con tempo al tempio della valle.
Per terminare il Giorno 1 visiterete il Museo Egizio in Piazza Tahrir, con le sue sale del tesoro faraonico, prima di pernottare al Cairo.
Giorno 2 salita alla Cittadella di Saladino, la fortezza medievale che incorona Il Cairo con ampie vedute sulla città vecchia.
All'interno della Cittadella entri nella Moschea di alabastro di Muhammad Ali, le sue grandi cupole e i minareti gemelli tra i monumenti più suggestivi del Cairo, prima del ritorno alla tua nave.

Best tour ever. Saw everything I wanted to see. The pyramids, Sphinx, the Egyptian museum, the citadel, Mohammed Ali mosque. Spent the night at the luxurious Barcela Cairo Pyramids hotel. Our guide aka Ahmet Eygpt Guide took us to the famous Koshari Abou Tarek restaurant for the best koshari in Egypt. All on all a great experience ca. Ot thank Ahmet and Egypt Day Tours enough. ( my wife insists Ahmet looks like John Belushi.)

Our guide and driver were both amazing! Driving downtown Cairo can be scary, lol. But our driver maneuvered it like a pro. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative along the way and at every stop. He even took us to a couple places not listed that he thought might interest us. So glad we did this private tour, I can't imagine having done Cairo with a large bus tour from the cruise ship.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Islam knew all of the ins and outs of the trip and took us where we needed to go at perfect times to get the best experience. We had such an amazing time exploring Egypt! The bus had excellent air conditioning. Our guide Eslam was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Best to go in October or during there winter, it was a high of 91 degrees which was very tolerable for the desert! Such an incredible experience and also a great photographer. Definitely book with him!

Incredible communication booking the tour from Alexandria cruise doc. Ahmed answered every question listened to what we wanted to do and see. He put together an incredible itinerary. It was a bucket list trip. Unfortunately, Celebrity Cruise Line cancelled the stop. Ahmed promptly initiated a refund. I am sure that we will book a tour with Egypt Day Tours in the future.
