Saigon come la città è ancora spesso indicata come la più grande città del Vietnam. La storia di Saigon ha solo 300 anni. Nel 1859 la città fu conquistata dai Francesi e divenne la capitale dell'Indocina. Visiteremo i seguenti luoghi di interesse al mattino: Il Palazzo della Riunificazione: qui il 30 aprile 1975 la guerra del Vietnam terminò ufficialmente quando il carro armato numero 843 dell'Esercito del Vietnam del Nord si schiantò contro le porte di quella che era, all'epoca, la residenza del Presidente della Repubblica del Vietnam.
Museo dei resti di guerra: precedentemente noto come il Museo dei crimini di guerra americani, questo è uno spettacolo commovente della futilità della guerra. Alcune delle fotografie in bianco e nero della mostra "Requiem" sono particolarmente toccanti, dedicate ai giornalisti e ai fotografi stranieri e vietnamiti che sono morti durante il conflitto. Il cortile esterno contiene il bottino di guerra, ovvero getti arrugginiti, carri armati e cannoni catturati dalla macchina militare americana.
The Old Post Office è un altro esempio dell'architettura coloniale francese ed è anche il più grande ufficio postale del paese.
Pagoda dell'Imperatore di Giada: Costruito nel 1909 in onore del supremo dio taoista, questo è uno dei templi più spettacolari dell'HCMC, ricco di statue di divinità fantasmatiche e di eroi grotteschi. Il fumo pungente di incenso riempie l'aria, oscurando le squisite sculture in legno.

Had a great afternoon with Stark and our driver in our OG American Jeep . Rolling in style round the streets of Saigon chilled water and beer on hand if needed . We Visited The Jaded Pagoda which you could easily pass by if you didn’t know it was there ,Saigon PO ,the Notre Dame cathedral, The Grand Palace ,The War Remnants Museum and as the tour is tailored to “US “ the Russian market. Stark was very knowledgeable and amusing and tailored the tour to our needs . We would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone. 100% 5*

We had a morning city tour and afternoon cyclo tour. Turned out we were the only two on the cyclo tour, so a personal experience! Camellia was a lovely, friendly guide who took the time to explain every area we went to. Highly recommend the whole tour. Viet who too us on the group minibus tour in the morning was also awesome and very informative and friendly. A must do for near the start of your trip. The cyclo in particular is an eye opener for Saigon daily life and traffic!! A bit hairy in parts but great fun!

Absolutely fantastic experience. The two temples and the cyclone and the warm museum were very very interesting. My two guide Luan was incredible. He was so professional and excellent at his job. I was feeling a bit unwell, but he really looked upcoming and such a professional and kind man. I would really recommend Asiana link travel for all your needs. The price was also very competitive. In fact I think for the amount of stuff that they do and the good air-conditioned vehicles, it was pretty reasonable.

We were picked up promptly this morning by our guide for today, Manh. We were whisked around the city expertly by our driver, all the while being given valuable information by Manh. He spoke perfect English and we enjoyed his company immensely. We loved visiting the Saigon Post Office, the War Remnants Museum, a market, the Independence Palace and other tourist attractions. We did a private tour with Anthony and he was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and proud of this beautiful city, as well as taking lots of photos for us, and making sure we were comfortable the whole time. The tour took us through major attractions in HCMC, and some we would never have found on our own. Lunch was a lovely 5 course meal at a local restaurant serving traditional food. The “Thousand Buddha” pagoda was the highlight for me, as well as the Cyclo ride. A great way to see the city when you have a short period of time.
