Itinerario
Il pick up sarà presso il vostro alloggio a Città del Messico. Il trasferimento a Cholula ha una durata di 2 ore e mezza.
Dal nostro arrivo a Cholula vedremo iniziare a vedere la Grande Piramide da lontano (la più grande base piramidale del mondo) e la famosa chiesa gialla sulla cima chiamata la Chiesa della Vergine dei Rimedi. La nostra prima tappa è il piccolo museo che contiene pezzi originali provenienti dalla zona archeologica e un’introduzione storica. Poi visiteremo l'area archeologica dove si trovano i campi dell'altare e i resti delle diverse fasi della Piramide.
Ci sposteremo nel centro / centro storico della città di Puebla dove visiteremo questo bellissimo stile coloniale che inizia dopo la caduta degli Aztechi guidati dagli spagnoli. Qui visiteremo i luoghi più importanti.
Questo è un luogo popolare e preferito per il turismo che vogliono vedere o acquistare l'artigianato. Migliaia di prodotti si possono trovare e il più popolare è talavera.
Continuiamo il nostro cammino camminando su questa strada dove si trovano diversi negozi di caramelle di dolci tradizionali e famosi di Puebla. Avrete una degustazione di queste caramelle come camotes (fatte con patate dolci) o borrachitos (gommose con alcol) e centinaia di caramelle. Inoltre visiteremo un laboratorio di talavera dove conoscerete il processo di questa arte.
Passeggiando per queste strade colorate e piene di vita ammirerete i diversi stili architettonici caratteristici dell'epoca coloniale dopo l'arrivo spagnolo. Molti affari per strada. Arriveremo a Zocalo (la piazza principale) dove si trova il bellissimo giardino, la fontana. Questo è un luogo di incontro popolare e intorno ci sono molti ristoranti. Possiamo occuparci del pranzo stavolta.
Visiteremo l'edificio principale nello zocalo con 70 metri le sue torri. Questa costruzione iniziò nel XVI secolo. Si tratta di una delle proprietà più importanti del centro storico, dichiarata Patrimonio dell'Umanità. All'interno vi stupirà circa le cupole e il design dell'architettura.
Faremo una breve visita per ammirare la prima biblioteca pubblica dell’America Latina fondata dal vescovo spagnolo Juan de Palafox y Mendoza nel 1646.
L'ultima zona che visiteremo è il luogo dove è stata la battaglia del 5 de mayo. In questa collina ci sono 2 forti e più edificio nella nostra era moderna. Anche una funivia. Da questo punto di vista possiamo vedere la zona centrale della città e se abbiamo cielo sereno anche i vulcani.

This was an excellent tour! Ruben was our guide, and he was fantastic!! He was very knowledgeable and gave us great details on Cholula and Puebla. Both cities are beautiful, and we learned much about the Cholula pyramids. Ruben was also very flexible with our itinerary. He took us to an authentic Talavera store where they make the pottery and helped us to purchase some authentic pieces for our home. We looked at several private tours before selecting this one, and we made the right choice!

Our guide Rubén was excellent. He explained the archeological site of Cholula very well; it was extremely interesting both for our adult son who has a BA in Archeology, and for my wife and I, who don't. The walk through Puebla was well organized, and Rubén was attentive and helpful any time we expressed an interest in seeing more of some particular thing (local abstract artists, talavera tiles, coconut candies. The restaurant that the tour reserved for us in Puebla had excellent mole poblano.

Our tour guide Roberto was very informative about the place he went to. he made sure to give us time to explore puebla as some places were closed as it was a monday. got to see many beautiful churches. puebla is such a beautiful city. he took very good care of us! would really appreciated if the archeological zone was compensated in a way as that was part of the tour:)

Excellent tour that started at my hotel in Mexico City. Roberto picked me up in the morning and we drove to see the Pyramid of Cholula and also Our Lady of Remedies Church. Next we went to Puebla where we had an amazing time visiting the historic center, the Puebla Cathedral and the Capilla del Rosario. A highlight was the Biblioteca Palafoxiana where a magnificent music performance was occurring in the courtyard! We had a wonderful little lunch at a local spot and later headed back to my hotel in Mexico City--a truly delightful day!!
