Rhodes is nice but not memorable. The Acropolis was excavated and is looking down at the sea. A nice portrait for those who lived there 2000 years ago. More interesting was the medieval fortress and city. The siege by the Turks left huge balls all over the city. It must have been terrible to have been under attack. The Crusaders didn’t withstand it. Lunch was very pleasant, maybe the best part of the afternoon.

A well-structured trip with a good balance between guided parts and time to explore on our own. The transport was smooth and everything ran on time. Not overly commercial, which we appreciated. A solid experience overall.
We did this as a family and it worked well for all ages. The pacing was manageable and there were enough breaks to keep everyone comfortable. Would have liked slightly more free time at one of the main stops, but overall it gave a nice overview of the region.
As a solo traveler, this was a convenient option. Got to see several places without worrying about logistics. It’s a bit quick in parts, so not ideal if you like to explore deeply. Still, met some nice people and enjoyed the overall flow. Good value for what’s included.
We went as a family and it worked out well. The pace was steady and not too tiring, even for kids. A couple of places felt a little rushed, especially when trying to take photos and look around properly.The variety of stops kept everyone interested though. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable trip.
Overall the trip was really enjoyable. Quite a lot packed into one day, but it didn’t feel overwhelming. The group size was good and easy to manage. Would have preferred a bit more time at one of the main stops, but understand it's hard to fit everything in. Some of the smaller stops were actually a nice surprise. All in all, a very good day.
This RHODES ISLAND TOUR was over priced at almost £100 per person. Value wise i would have classed it as expensive at half the price paid. It should have been sold as a two destination tour. RHODES OLD TOWN AND LYNDOS. On a positive note the TOUR GUIDE WAS FIRST CLASS. EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. THE PICK UP WAS EARLY AND RETURN ON TIME.

As for the cost, €100 per person is considered an average rate for a guided full-day tour that includes wine tasting and covers all the must-see highlights of Rhodes, which is an island so far:-) Of course, you can find some cheaper options — but those usually don’t include a professional guide or are large 50+ passenger bus tours like the ones arranged by cruise ships. The choice, as always, is yours. Safe travels!
The tour guide was knowledgeable, Nick the driver was terrible; unnecessary fast braking for no reason. This is a tourist trap excursion -not at all as it was described. The olive oil and honey tasting are just shops designed to sell tourists , same with the pottery. This is the typical tourist trap experience. Nothing really to see in Lindros. Avoid this. If you ar on a cruise, walk to take a cab to the old city and go to the beach.

Nicholas has been driving on this island for 27 years — even I wouldn’t dare teach him how to brake! 😊 We don’t have “Lindros” here, but if you meant Lindos, it’s actually one of the most famous archaeological sites not just in Rhodes, but in all of Greece. If the only thing you remembered from the visit was tasting oil and honey, that’s a bit of a shame — there was a lot more to experience. As for the pottery workshop, the stop wasn’t meant to encourage purchases, but to show the centuries-old process of Greek pottery-making — a true part of our heritage. And regarding the Old Town — you don’t actually need a cab. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the pier… though we understand, that for some traveling individuals it’s easier to just enjoy its view from the cabin. 😉 Cruisers do have a wide range of preferences, and we enjoy every single one of them including the puzzling ones.
