È una famosa destinazione turistica nella provincia di Hunan che è stata ufficialmente riconosciuta come sito patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO nel 1992. La formazione a pilastri vista attraverso il parco è il risultato di molti anni di erosione. Con oltre il 90% di copertura forestale, l'area panoramica comprende Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Golden Whip Stream e Tianzi Mountain. La cultura minoritaria e il folklore sono rappresentati nei villaggi e nelle città vicine, abitate da popoli Tujia, Bai, Miao e Hui, rendendo utili Viaggi collaterali.

Yuanjiajie si trova nell'angolo settentrionale del Parco Nazionale di Zhangjiajie. It was a great experience, this Tour was amazing and I highly recommend you go with a tour guide because the national forest at ziangjianje and the sky bridge are very overwhelming and there are so many shuttles you must take and wouldn’t know which one to take if it weren’t for the tour guide, Cara was the best!! If you can reserve with her, she was very kind and patient and explained us everything!

Everything was excellent. The comfortable SUV, pleasent driver, great English speaking tour guide. Showed all the highlights efficiently. We visited during summer holidays so was a bit busy but no really long queues. All in all highly recommended.
