Un tour di Swanaford Vineyard offre ai visitatori un'affascinante panoramica sulla coltivazione dell'uva e sulla produzione del vino in Inghilterra. I visitatori passeggeranno tra le vigne, vedendo le cinque varietà che coltiviamo sul sito, tra cui Chardonnay, Pinot Nero e Pinot Meunier che sono le tradizionali uve champagne. Una visita in primavera permetterà ai visitatori di vedere le viti che emergono dal letargo invernale, con nuovi tralci che si formano sulle viti recentemente potate. In alta estate o all'inizio dell'autunno, aspettatevi un sacco di crescita vigorosa e, naturalmente, l'uva! Il vigneto si trova in una splendida valle all'interno del Parco Nazionale di Dartmoor ed è circondato da una campagna mozzafiato. Robbie, Tim, Caroline o Ben vi incontreranno al fienile di degustazione e vi porteranno in una passeggiata guidata attraverso le 10.000 viti che abbiamo piantato in questo bellissimo sito della valle di Dartmoor. Spiegheremo come coltiviamo l'uva a Dartmoor e le sfide che affrontiamo, e poi torneremo al fienile dove i visitatori sono invitati ad assaggiare tutti i nostri vini mentre vi parliamo del processo di vinificazione. A really nice visit enjoyed by all adults and older children
Lovely and informative way to spend a few hours in Devon countryside Had a walk round the vineyards where the grapes and process was explained. After we sampled the wine. The wine was delicious. The host was absolutely fantastic. Explained everything in a lovely engaging manner
A fantastic visit, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and approachable, the wine was great and we learned a lot. A beautiful quiet setting, would definitely recommend!
We were excited to visit the beautiful Swanaford Vineyard and it didn't disappoint! Caroline & Ben were on hand to do the tour as there was a mix up with the times, but we had an excellent visit with our friends and it was interesting to learn about the process and hard work that goes into making the lovely wine we tasted. We wish them all the best for the future!
A very enjoyable experience , whilst also learning more about grape varieties, growing vines and the all important production and tasting of wine - a very good set of British wines. Mollie, our guide, was knowledgeable and able to engage well with the group, making the whole experience fun, the time flew by. Tasting samples were generous! Good value for money.
Great setting, Molly was a very thoughtful, knowledgeable and passionate guide. Tour around the 10 acres of different vines, explained the different taste and types, then back to the barn for 4 tastings. Great value for money.

Tim was a fantastically knowledgeable and passionate guide. Had excellent knowledge but also didn’t push too much technical jargon onto our group, which was fantastic for half the group who were only interested in the wine tasting aspect!! The vineyard is in beautiful surroundings and is a very well worth visit when in/around Exeter. The wines (2 still white, 2 sparkling white and 1 sparkling rose) are fantastic too!
