My review: We arrived at Zion Canyon Hot Springs around 8:20 PM and were charged $180. We were told this was a “discounted” price, but the amount appeared to be the full admission price. Because one member of our group was six months below the age requirement for certain areas, we were limited to only one pool and three tubs. Unfortunately, the condition of the facility was extremely disappointing. Several pools appeared to have significant algae buildup, some areas had green residue that appeared to be bird waste, and the entire facility had a strong unpleasant odor. Multiple pools had visible particles floating on the surface, making it seem like the water was not being properly filtered or maintained. The sauna was also not functioning as expected; it took around 20 minutes before there was even noticeable heat or sweating. The water itself smelled bad and appeared dirty, which made it difficult to feel comfortable using the facilities. For the price we paid, the experience did not come close to meeting expectations. The customer service made the experience even worse. The staff member who handled our check-in and refund request was dismissive and sarcastic, speaking as if we were the problem. I want to be clear that I approached the situation respectfully. I was friendly, made jokes, laughed, and tried to keep the interaction positive, but I received rude and unhelpful responses in return. After only about 40 minutes, I decided to leave and requested a partial refund. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was told that it was my responsibility to check reviews and understand expectations, and that whether someone stayed 18 minutes or three hours did not matter. Overall, my concerns are the poor water quality, lack of maintenance, overcrowded areas, equipment that did not appear to function properly, and the dismissive customer service. For the price, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had in the area. If you have similar concerns about sanitation, water quality, or facility conditions, consider reporting them to the Washington County Health Department or Utah Division of Consumer Protection so they can review whether there are ongoing issues.
The pools and saunas were amazing! The servers on the 21+ side were great. The frozen drinks were perfect on a hot summer day.
The hot springs is beautiful and so relaxing. It was blazing hot the day we went, but we got a smoothie and a piña colada and they were amazing. Beckham who made our drinks was very friendly and helpful. Overall we will definitely come back…just maybe when it’s not so hot or later in the day. Very impressed with the whole facility and excited to have this as an option when family comes to from out of town.
It’s a nice place to relax and having a good time. Tips: go there when it’s sunny to catch a beautiful sunset.
Great experience stayed all day and night. Loved all the pools. Food was excellent and the 21 + area was worth it .
This was an incredible experience!! I came here with my mom during our trip to Zion and we were just blown away at all the different soaking pools and temperatures! We loved it so much that we’re going back tonight in the dark to sit under the stars!
Awesome! Loved it - family of 5 had a great time. I booked in advance thinking it might be needed but it was not. You can just show up.
Great way to experience various hot springs while in a relaxing and clean resort style environment. You get the natural benefits but also the ability to order food and drinks, have robes, a locker room, and other modern day comforts.
Relaxing day at Zion Canyon Hot springs. It was great to try the different pools from around the world. Locker rooms/ showers are clean. Would definitely return
Remember your sandals, as the concrete gets very hot. It was an enjoyable afternoon, we tried the majority of the pools.
