Wow! We really enjoyed our tour with Andrea. He was super knowledgeable and gave us such a great overview of the fascinating history of Zadar. This is truly such a unique city with sites like the Forum, Venetian walls and even remnants from Mussolini and even more recent Yugoslavia. This was one of the best tours we took in Croatia!
Tonka was wonderful! I enjoy the city so much more now that I know it’s rich history.
My husband and I were the only two that signed up for our tour. Our guide, Tonka, was absolutely incredible! She shared her knowledge of Zadar with us and made the tour that much more enjoyable. The tastings along the way were delicious and something to look forward to. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you again, Tonka!
Tonka was a great guide. Good English & great explanation. I would really recommend. Thank you!
Very knowledgeable and warm guide, Tonka. Not too many people which was great.
Iva for president! Our city tour through Zadar could not have gone better. Thank you Iva, you were great! Since no other city tour guests had signed up, my friend and I were lucky to experience a private tour with you. Your warm, open, yet pleasantly unobtrusive manner and your humor felt as if I were out with a friend. You know a lot about the history of Zadar and presented it in a way that was very informative and understandable, even for my somewhat rusty English skills, without overwhelming me. We also had the opportunity to express our wishes and interests regarding the city tour. Anytime again! Beautiful excursion destination.
What a lovely 2 hours with Andrija! He walked us around the city and gave us the historical facts plus added in personal stories from his family-oh what a lovely time! We had cheese and brandy and he told us of the restaurant we are going to for our 30th anniversary!! The ice cream recommendation was great also! Thank you Andrija for a memorable day in beautiful Zadar!
We really enjoyed this tour in Zadar! Our guide Tonka was lively, curious, and knew how to explain history in a way that kept us interested. It covered not only communism and World War II, but also the Italian, Austro-Hungarian, Turkish, German and French occupations, the Yugoslav Kingdom, Communist Yugoslavia and Tito. We walked through important places in the city, asked all our questions, and finished with a taste of a national drink. A great mix of history, stories and atmosphere!
