Le point de rendez-vous est au point de départ le plus naturel pour une visite, à côté de l'ancienne porte de la ville et de la colonne romaine qui marque le début de la rue principale.
Le premier arrêt est à côté de l'église qui cache l'un des trésors religieux les plus importants et les plus vénérés du pays. À quelques pas, nous dégusterons un plat de poisson local accompagné de vin blanc régional.
En passant par la place principale, centre de la vie urbaine à Zadar depuis l’époque médiévale où l’identité urbaine de la ville a pris forme, et où les premiers bars ont ouvert déjà au début du XVIIIe siècle.
Nous visiterons le marché local, où les habitants vendent quotidiennement du poisson pêché et des légumes cultivés localement. À côté se trouvent les vestiges d'une ancienne église, aujourd'hui transformée en un jardin de vin frais et unique. Là, nous dégusterons du prosciutto et du fromage locaux, accompagnés d’un vin rouge riche.
Marcher le long de la rue principale de la vieille ville - Kalelarga - qui a été parcouru depuis l'époque romaine.
Nous nous arrêterons au site culturel le plus important de la ville, le plus grand forum romain de l'Adriatique oriental. Vous entendrez des histoires de la vie urbaine dans les temps anciens et en apprendrez davantage sur l'histoire dynamique de Zadar
Les rues étroites du quartier de Varoš offrent un aperçu clair de la culture urbaine dynamique de Zadar. Fondée au XVIe siècle par des familles laborieuses, elle demeure un quartier animé de la ville. Ici, nous allons essayer la ćevapi et déguster de la bière artisanale brassée localement par des femmes.
À la dernière étape de notre visite, dans un bar traditionnel, nous trinquerons aux souvenirs faits et aux amitiés nouées avec une sélection d’alcools locaux. Živjeli ! [Acclamations!]

Ines was really good, awesome food and drinks.
Our tour guide, Ivana, was terrific! She shared so much information ( in a wonderfully abbreviated manner) about Croatia & Zadar. Her insights provided us with a good overview so we could have an understanding of the culture and lifestyle in Croatia. We enjoyed the food bites and beverages included in the tour too, but the highlight for us was what we learned from Ivana. Highly recommend this tour for knowledge and tasting ‘bits’ of truly local food. If you take the 6:00 PM tour you will be able to scout out a place to enjoy dinner afterwords.
Great way to start the trip to get to know the beautiful town and make new friends. Our guide was patient and you can tell she loves her country.

We bought this so early on our visit to Zadar we would know a bit more about the City as well as being able to find our way round. We had a wonderful time with our guide, she was knowledgable, friendly, funny and very honest about recent the recent history too. We enjoyed the food and drink but it was her knowledge of Zadar that made it amazing.
Arriving in Zadar late afternoon, an evening tour was the ideal introduction to the town. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and made us all feel welcome. Food and wine/beer tastings were good. Recommended.

Excellent first evening of our visit to Zadar, our lovely guide showed us some interesting bars and restaurants which we could go back to. Also helps "orientate" you in the Old town. Don't confuse this tour with the soulless history lectures you see coming off the cruise ships, our guide was relaxed, informative and clearly proud of her city which made for an engaging 2 1/2 hour meander around. The fact that the food was excellent, and there was enough to drink to be slightly squiffy by the end of the evening, was a pleasant "plus". Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Last-minute changes to the cruise ship departure time forced Dina to adjust the usual order of tour stops, but she did a wonderful job of improvising on the fly. Great guide and super nice person. Food, wine, and maraschino liquor were excellent! You should definitely do this tour. A+.

My mother and I (67 & 35 yo) truly enjoyed our tour with Dina! She was knowledgeable about Zadar and helped us learn more about the area, history, and culture. She also was friendly and had a great sense of humor. The tastings and drinks were all good and offered a nice variety of things to try. I’d suggest doing this at the start of your trip to get aquatinted with Zadar!
