Zurich est la «kleintropolis» de la Suisse. C'est ce que Max Frisch, auteur et architecte indigène, a appelé ce lieu: une petite métropole. Même si la ville s’est considérablement développée depuis l’époque de Max, lors de cette visite audio autoguidée, vous découvrirez à quel point la description convient toujours! Cette promenade commence sur la Bahnhofstrasse, aux abords de la vieille ville. Je vous conduirai le long des rues pavées au bord de la rivière Limmat et vous montrerai où les Romains et les Carolingiens se sont installés. Nous terminerons définitivement la visite de nos jours sur la Paradeplatz près du lac de Zurich. La visite comprend des histoires, des faits et des légendes comme: • D'où vient la richesse de Zurich depuis 2000, d'une gare de péage romaine à la banque privée • les maisons de guilde médiévales de Zurich et la révolution des artisans • Charlemagne, son cheval et quelques saints sans tête • Les filles du roi Ludwig et un cerf aux bois brillants • Deux frères chemins différents vers le succès dans l'industrie du chocolat

Never done a self guided tour before and it was so good. Just enough info and easy to follow instructions. When unpaid attention haha

This tour was the perfect balance of the right amount of information the right amount of time and a nice walk through a beautiful city. The guide was easy to understand and very interesting to follow.

Tour was easy to follow, very informative and just the right length. We saw things we just wouldn’t have found without this - such as some amazing frescos. You need to allow time afterwards to explore the old town more yourself.
Very interesting information and a nice route! I occasionally had trouble identifying where I was supposed to stand or look, but mostly figured it out! Would highly recommend.

What a great way to discover Zürich: at your own pace, without any pressure! You can stop at any of the beautiful spots that Cynthia's audio- tour takes you to, grab a coffee, or a bite, and continue afterwards exactly from where you had left. Cynthia's tour is very interesting, educational and her voice is mesmerising :-) My friend and I both loved this tour verry much. I will be trying Cynthia's audio- tours in other cities too!
This is the best way to see Old Town. Better and more extensive than a guide tour we did. If you enjoy self-paced tours with excellent descriptions at stopping points this tour is for you!
Flawless software. Tour was solid. A great intro to Zurich and I will use this in other cities! Only thing missing was someone to answer my dumb questions… 😆 what’s that? How is is this? Haha
