Visite guidée parfaite Shirakawa-go au départ de Kanazawa

Yasushi and Keita were absolutely awesome! So was the driver, Maekawa! They were engaging, kind, and we had a lot of fun in the beautiful village. We were there for a few hours. Keita took time talking with us as we walked through the town and was very friendly. Yasushi spent time on the bus afterwards helping us learn a bit more about our Japanese roots. Both were funny and good natured former teachers! We highly recommend Hanamizuki Shirakawa 花水木白川 and their curry udon. We were running late and the ladies there were super nice and got us to-go bowls even though they had already served us. We were super embarrassed but they were incredibly kind and we got back to the bus on time to enjoy some good pork curry udon.

Shirakawa-go is a magnificent place, and the guided tour makes it even more memorable!! Yasushi is a wonderful guide, his explanations really made the hour-long bus ride to get to the village feel like only a moment and really transmitted his genuine love for the place. Since we came slightly early in the morning, the town was mostly free of crowds. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I’d recommend it to anyone planning to visit Shirakawa-go.

We had a fantastic experience! Yasushi and Keita were fun, engaging, and knowledgeable. They took time to explain and answer questions. All the activities were easy to follow and participate in. It was definitely worth doing!

What words can you use to describe this tour? I have been on many tours, but none can compare with the exceptional experience provided by Japan Panoramic Tours. Our guide was Yasushi, and his passion for both Kanazawa and Japan is very evident. You will find his English to be amazingly good, his knowledge to be on point, and his humor to be very fun. And now I haven’t even described all that we saw and heard and tasted. Shirakawa-go is a step back into nostalgic Japan, and there are so many photo opportunities of the peaceful beauty of this World Heritage sight. Also, make sure to try the Hida beef and grab some tasty ice cream. If you are anywhere near Kanazawa, you must include this in your trip.

Yasushi san was an energetic, kind and highly knowledgeable guide! He and Keita san made a wonderful team, and I’d like to give a shoutout to Maekawa san for shuttling us around safely. ありがとうございました！

I went on this tour with my Dad, there were about 40 people on the tour with us. It’s an hour and a half bus ride from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go but I never noticed the length of time because our tour guide, Yasushi-san, is both an entertainer and a teacher. You will learn a lot about your destination and have a good time doing it. Yasushi-san’s English is easy to understand and I knew all about Shirakawa-go’s past, present, and future history before we got our free time to explore the village. I had a great time and would recommend Yasushi-san’s Kanazawa walking tour to anyone as well!

Tasushi was a truly wondeful guide ! Everything he said was interesting, and he was truly nice to us You could see that he enjoyed being with us and teaching us little fun facts. The tour itself was amazing, the Shirakawa-go village was beautiful ! (The Hida Beef stick was to die for) :)
