Visite de vignobles et dégustation de vin Quinta da Portela de Baixo à Lamego

Quinta da Portela de Baixo was one of our best experiences in Portugal. Our guide was exceptional, very knowledgable and took her time and answered our questions. After a tour of the old winemaking facility we went inside their beautiful tasting room for a guided tasting of wines and ports paired with a variety of snacks. This was a nice experience because so many of the wineries and port houses give you a flight and just leave to to it after a brief explanation of what's in each glass. This tasting went wine by wine and we learned about each one in a relaxed manner that made the experience stand out.

We enjoyed everything)! The grounds, the personal tour, the wines and food pairings, and especially the kindness and enthusiasm of Susannah. We are neophytes when it come to wine and port, we learned so much and enjoyed every single generous pour! Obrigado!!!

Elizabeth was an amazing host. We saw the wine museum and got to learn about the history. She was so wonderful and treated us like royalty. Definitely recommend a trip to Pedra Alta.

This place is wonderful. Plan to spend your whole afternoon enjoying very healthy pours of very good wine.

Lovely guided tour of the cellars and vineyard and the tastong of the wines was amazing, including some local snacks as well. All with a beautifull view. Highly recommended!

The wine tasting at the Quinta da Portela de Baixo Winery in Lamego – Douro was wonderful! Our host Elizabeth gave us a tour of their museum and the grounds before our tasting. The tasting was lovely. We had an exquisite view, the wines are excellent, and Elizabeth is just the best!

Absolutely fantastic wine tasting with our guide Kristina. Wonderfully beautiful environment and good wines. Can warmly recommend. We had to take our time and got good tapas paired with the wines. The view was amazing. We were all alone there which made the whole experience very exclusive. We stayed at the vineyard which is ten minutes walking distance away which made it all very accessible and good.

It was an incredible experience. Our desk was on the balcony outside with a beautiful view. The tasting includes aperitives such as cheeses from the region, jam, jelly, chestnut, etc. The women who served us were super attentive. The museum is pretty legal too.
