Lovely guide and great wine thank you
We have tried 5 wines from different regions of Romania. It was all explained to us in great detail. The presenter answered all our questions. We also had very generous platter of food to go with wines. The atmosphere was very nice.
The owner was super sweet and knowledgeable. The wines were absolutely amazing and the meat and cheese plate was delicious. Would highly recommend this tasting!
Dario gave us an excellent tasting. If you appreciate good wine sign up. Great welcome, generous tasting, superb charcuterie board and great value for money. The amazing feature is the 5 wines are indigenous varieties to Romania. A unique experience. Would do it again!

The wine tasting took place at Abel’s wine bar near the old town. The wines were very good, and it was interesting to heat about the different wine producing regions, and background on each sample. The food was very good too.
The host was charming and explained about the different indigenous grapes and the regions of the country where the vineyards were located. It helped that they had a map as well. Since all the tastings were in a single location, we didn’t have to walk to different locations and had time to relax and enjoy the wines and charcuterie. A good start to our time in Bucharest.
Third time I have been to Abel’s while visiting Bucharest. Another excellent tasting session. Very grateful that they were prepared to switch the rose for another red. I will definitely come back if in Bucharest again

Dario was a great host and the wine selections were marvelous and we were pleasantly surprised. The charcuterie was excellent. We stayed awhile and chatted with some customers from France. All in all a great experience.
