Nous vous invitons à visiter la région de Peza, qui est la région la plus célèbre en Crète pour trois choses, C'est des caves, des usines d'huile d'olive et pour C'est des poteries. Apprenez-en davantage sur l'histoire et la tradition des raisins locaux, de la vinification et de l'huile d'olive, tout en plongeant dans les saveurs des vins, dans la meilleure cave que nous avons sélectionnée pour vous. Goûtez les variétés indigènes de Crète comme le Dafni Kotsifali, le Thrapsathiri, le Plyto, le Malvasia di Candia, le Muscat de Spina ou du terroir avec des variétés internationales comme le Sauvignon Blanc, la Syrah et le Cabernet Sauvignon associées à des fromages crétois. Le déjeuner arrive, et nous nous laissons aller à un festin traditionnel crétois dans une taverne pittoresque nichée dans un village pittoresque de Katalagari.

Notre premier arrêt est dans une usine d'huile d'olive pour apprendre tout le processus de fabrication de l'huile d'olive et bien sûr, vous aurez l'occasion de déguster leur huile d'olive extra vierge.
Nous vous invitons à découvrir les secrets et les savoir-faire qui ont fait de Thrapsano Pottery le village le plus prospère de Crète et même de Grèce. Un chauffeur-guide emmènera les visiteurs au cœur du village de Thrapsano, où les gens produisent de la céramique depuis des milliers d'années. Les visiteurs peuvent voir les compétences les plus importantes requises pour créer une œuvre d'art en poterie. C'est votre opportunité de voir en direct et de discuter avec certains des meilleurs artisans, de voir comment ils produisent et comment ils cuisent leurs produits dans un four semblable à ceux utilisés d'hier à aujourd'hui.
Commencez votre visite par une visite du célèbre vignoble Lyrarakis, l'un des vignobles les plus anciens et les plus importants de Crète. Ici, vous pourrez en apprendre davantage sur le processus de vinification, explorer les vignobles et déguster une variété de vins, notamment des cépages indigènes crétois comme le Vilana et le Kotsifali. Dégustez 5 vins crétois associés à des fromages crétois.
Dans ce magnifique village, vous traverserez des bâtiments et des maisons traditionnels de Katalagari pendant que votre chauffeur/guide vous informera et vous expliquera la tradition, l'histoire et la façon dont les habitants vivent, célèbrent et profitent de leur vie. Ici, nous déjeunerons dans une taverne familiale avec de la nourriture et du vin traditionnels crétois (facultatif)

We had an incredible experience with Dimitrios. He was a fantastic tour guide - he was both knowledgeable and friendly. We began with a taste of olive oil, then went to the pottery shop and finished with two wine tastings. Each stop was memorable, enjoyable, and well worth our time. This tour was the highlight of our vacation. From the moment Spyros picked us up to when he dropped us off, it was epic. First, Spyros is the best tour guide ever. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable but he was a genuine person. I would highly recommend him to all tour inquiries. Next, the tour itself was well thought out. My wife and I had the most incredible tour experiencing Cretan olive oil, wine, raki, and pottery with Spyros. He was personable, knowledgeable, fun, and went above and beyond to deliver a memorable day. Along the tour he would make stops to pick herbs off the roadside to share more about the rich agriculture with us! He even brought along birthday candles and a personalized cake for my wife’s birthday - truly special. We highly recommend Spyros and Tours in Heraklion!

Our tour guide, Spyros, was an excellent guide! He toured us around Heraklion where we visited a family owned winery and rali producer and olive oil production facility. We learned a lot about the local production and consumption of all food. While we did visit during the low season (Dec), there was a chance that stone places were closed, like the pottery business. While we were disappointed, we still enjoyed the tour and the accommodations that Spyros provided. Highly recommended!

This was an amazing day-trip! We loved every stop on the tour but most especially Domaine Paterianakis. This is a woman-owned (sisters) and operated winery with the most impeccable attention to detail. Additionally, our tour guide Spyros had such lovely energy and was so passionate about telling us about Crete. The most incredible part....in the booking notes it asked if there were any dietary restrictions and I wrote: No, but it is my sister's birthday! Tours in Heraklion arranged for a surprise cake to be delivered at the wineries and it was such a lovely moment for my sister! We Were both surprised and truly touched. We would 100% recommend this tour to anyone...we even got a chance to learn from a master potter!! We will definitely be utilizing their services again!

My sister and I did this tour and absolutely loved it. The wineries were beautiful and had great wine and amazing cheese plates, the pottery studio we went to was amazing (and we got to try doing pottery!) and the olive oil press was very educational. The drive was astoundingly scenic. We would have had a great time even with a terrible guide. However, our guide (Stavros) was awesome. We could not have asked for a nicer, funnier, more knowledgeable guy. He joked at the beginning of the tour that questions were free until 3, and thereafter it would be €5 per question. If so, we would owe him approximately 1k. He answered questions about botany, history, culture, wildlife, politics, tourism, his family, the business, etc. We were honestly disappointed he didn't join us for the wine tasting, we were enjoying his company so much. I would recommend this tour to anyone. I plan to recommend it to everyone I know who travels out this way.

What a fabulous tour! Spyros, a local to the area was super knowledgeable and friendly, and went above and beyond to make our trip to Crete a fun and memorable one. The wine-tastings are well worth it, 5 tastings and cheese platters at each winery, both with amazing views. Along the way, our guide even took a detour to show us around the plateau which is famous for its traditional windmills and agriculture. The tour was run so well that we wished we’d booked our other tour in Heraklion with Heraklion Tours!!
