Cette merveilleuse excursion d’une journée vous emmènera dans deux des attractions les plus emblématiques du Royaume-Uni et dans l’une des villes les plus célèbres – et charmantes – du monde. Assurez-vous d'être au point de rendez-vous pour 7h30 car votre coach partira à 8h précises !
Vous arriverez au premier arrêt de la journée, le château de Windsor, pour environ 9h30. Ce château vieux de 900 ans se perche fièrement sur une colline boisée luxuriante surplombant la Tamise. IT ses vastes jardins paysagers et son imposante tourelle, il est facile de comprendre pourquoi le château de Windsor est aimé du roi Charles II.
Au château de Windsor, découvrez un fascinant aperçu à travers le trou de la serrure des somptueux State Apartments, qui abritent des œuvres d’art inestimables de Rembrandt et Léonard de Vinci, et visitez la magnifique chapelle Saint-Georges, dernière demeure atmosphérique d’anciens monarques, dont Henri VIII et Elizabeth II. L'autocar quittera le château de Windsor vers 11h30 pour passer à la prochaine partie de votre aventure.
D'un château vieux de 900 ans à un monument vieux de 5 000 ans - vous ferez un pas encore plus loin dans le temps en visitant Stonehenge, où vous arriverez pendant environ 13h15. La véritable signification de cette ancienne création épatante s'est perdue dans la nuit des temps. Stonehenge était-il un temple pour le culte du soleil, un centre de guérison, un lieu de sépulture ou peut-être un calendrier énorme ? Comment nos ancêtres ont-ils réussi à transporter les puissantes pierres de si loin et ensuite, en utilisant seulement les outils les plus primitifs, à construire cette structure étonnante ? Entouré de mystère, Stonehenge ne manque jamais d'impressionner.
Pour votre dernière étape de la journée, découvrez la magnifique ville d’Oxford, connue pour abriter la plus ancienne université du monde Anglais. Lors de cette visite à pied d'Oxford, suivez les traces des célèbres étudiants d'Oxford (tels que C.S.Lewis et Bill Clinton) en vous promenant dans les cours captivantes de l'université et les ruelles pavées de cette ville universitaire historique.
Admirez la célèbre « ville des flèches de rêve » et admirez la bibliothèque Bodleian – l’une des plus anciennes bibliothèques d’Europe – lors de votre visite. Vous serez subjugué par les ruelles étroites préservées et les places anciennes de ce charmant endroit. Votre coach quittera Oxford vers 17h45. L'heure d'arrivée estimée à Londres est d'environ 19 heures.

Stonehenge was great! A must visit!! Windsor Castle was great! A must visit but need more time. Oxford was a disappointment. The walking tour was not impressive (no audio and hearing the guide was difficult) and the time spent in Oxford would have been better divided across Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Tour Guide was a “grumpy” older gentleman. He didn’t appear to be excited about the tour. And, he constantly warned people that the bus would leave people behind if not back on time. Tour picks up and drops off at different locations (30 mins apart).
. I did not have a good experience with the "Windsor, Oxford, and Stonehenge Tour from London (Classic Plus)." I ran into a problem at Windsor and missed the bus; I was unable to resolve the situation using the emergency number on the wristband—I felt abandoned. I tried contacting via WhatsApp but only received automated responses. As a foreigner who struggles with English, I felt desperate to rejoin the group. I had to turn to drivers from other companies on my own, as they could see my distress. Finally, a group from another company gave me a "lift" so I could reach Stonehenge. That day, I missed out on visiting the archaeological site I had really wanted to see; it was a very sad and disheartening experience. I ended up booking a new trip for the following day and finally made it to Stonehenge. However, I certainly will not recommend this tour . there is too much to do in a rush, and you run the risk of being left behind somewhere.

Had a tour with Oliver and driver Ali, which was well guided and got us to places on time. Oliver had great communication throughout the guided portion of tour and watched for everyone's safety. Only wish I had was the order of the tour as I personally found Oxford has the most to experience in the city, then Windsor castle as there was lots to see inside, but you can't take any pictures and the lastly Stonehenge as 1hr should be more than enough.

Kelvin was a super guide who was able to give us some personal recommendations and tips. His way of storytelling was very exciting, and we also really appreciated the help and support on-site (tickets, etc.). Our driver Armando got us through the day punctually and safely. Both were very friendly and accommodating. The tour was a lot of fun and provided many impressions. However, we had a very tight schedule, and we could certainly have spent more time at one or two of the stops.

Seine Erzählweise war sehr spannend und auch die Hilfe und Unterstützung vor Ort (tickets, etc.) wussten wir sehr zu schätzen. Unser Fahrer Armando hat uns pünktlich und sicher durch den Tag gebracht. Beide waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Tour hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und viele Eindrücken vermittelt. Allerdings hatten wir einen sehr straffen Zeitplan und an dem einen oder anderen Stopp hätte man durchaus mehr Zeit verbringen können.
