Dernière visite à Penduka Village, Women Empowerment Project. En savoir plus sur la broderie à la main, le recyclage des matériaux et les achats optionnels de produits de broderie à la main par les femmes. Visite d'un barrage récréatif du barrage de Goreagab. Terminez la visite ici et retournez à la ville et déposez les clients à leurs hôtels respectifs. Fini pour la journée !
Faites un tour en voiture jusqu'au nouveau township actuellement connu sous le nom de Katutura - Un endroit où nous ne voulons pas nous installer. Visitez le marché local des viandes et interagissez avec les habitants, apprenez-en davantage sur la culture et goûtez à une délicieuse cuisine locale.

Our guide for the trip, Pedros, was superb. He picked us up on time and was very polite throughout. He was very knowledgeable bout the history of what is now Namibia. He took us to all the major sights and gave us information, but also allowed us to have time to explore on our own. Overall it was a great introduction to Windhoek and Namibia. We would highly recommend this as an introduction to Windhoek for anyone else.

We were picked up on time at the hotel by Petrus and warmly welcomed. His explanations about the history, the sights visited, and the project for handicapped women were interesting, detailed, and empathetic. Petrus allowed us a glimpse into his life, and we experienced at the market that he apparently knew everyone. We can only highly recommend the tour and the great guide Petrus.

Very professional and well organized tour. A nice overview of history and culture. The guide was amazing, he added a stop at the market where we tasted local delicacy. Highly recommended. Really amazing tour company and guide.

Fabulous introduction to Windhoek. I can’t believe how much we covered in this tour. John was amazing, super knowledgeable, friendly and answered all our questions. Would definitely 100% recommend this tour for anyone who wants to have an overview of the city and learn about Namibia

Perfect tour, the past and history of Windhoek was explained very good. Thanks to Petrus, our guide. He also showed us parts of Windhoek where we never went in when we where alone exploring the city. We went to a local market in a township, showed and explained us the life in the township. He also showed us around in a project for disabled, or uneducated women. Once more: a great thank to Petrus.

We had an amazing day with John our guide. He was very knowledgeable and professional and went out of his way to make our day in Windhoek special. Kavana Tours City Tour of Windhoek is highly recommended. I was with Petrus, who arrived on time in an immaculate vehicle and who spent the next few hours helping me to learn a lot about Windhoek and Namibian culture and history. I learned about and saw sites related to the different tribes, the German Colonial Period, the South African period, the important freedom fighters in Namibian history and what it is like for Nsmibians today. The itinerary is the classic one for a Windhoek city tour, but the care was so personalized that it felt really special. No question or request was too much for Petrus to handle. He made sure that everything I was interested in was addressed. Aside from being knowledgeable, Petrus was also great fun to be with. A truly nice surprise on the tour was the visit to Oshetu Community Market and all we could taste and see, The tour was a truly a great and memorable one.

The tour guide, Petrus, provided a very well informed and detailed history of Namibia and Windhoek whilst taking me through key sites in town. I loved learning about Namibia’s history as it was very eye opening and surprising at times! Definitely recommend this tour!

Today I spent four amazing hours on a city tour of Windhoek which served me well so I could get my bearings and understand the history and individual communities before leaving in two days for a safari. Petrus was professional, knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing the story of his country. The stories he told of Namibia's complex history, unique culture, and social equity development brought every stop on the tour to REAL life. What made the experience especially memorable was his ability to weave in deeply personal stories and adventures from his own village life to now city-life, adding authenticity and perspective that you simply can't get from a guidebook or Google. If you're looking for a five-star guide, I highly recommend Petrus!

We had a great trip with the extremely nice Petrus, who is very knowledgeable! He generally conducts the trips in smaller groups... we were just the two of us. Private car, quite new, clean, and air-conditioned. We will definitely recommend him 100%...
