Excursion d'une journée en kayak sur le fleuve Colorado à Willow Beach avec déjeuner

What an amazing day of kayaking and exploring the CO River! The whole day was a great experience starting with meeting our guide, Holmes, at their office and our ride to Willow Beach launch area. Holmes was fantastic making sure we had everything we needed and gave great commentary along the way about Boulder City, Hoover Dam and surrounding areas. He gave us a great tour while kayaking pointing out interesting and historical significance of what we were seeing. Highlights were stopping for lunch at Vampire Cave, going into the beautiful Emerald Cave for pics and seeing some natural wildlife. All with the calm and serene backdrop of kayaking the CO River. Holmes was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and made sure we were safe with great communication, training in outdoor safety and even had an AED unit and radio just in case. Would definitely recommend Holmes, Desert Adventures and will definitely do this again!

It was a fun-filled day kayaking down the river (husband with 2 friends) with our guide Holmes. Holmes was fantastic, entertaining, safe & very knowledgeable about the area leading up to the river and gave us a more colorful & detailed experience of nature and the scenic stops along the river. The views were spectatcular. The lunch provided was from a local hot spot (which we stopped to pick up fresh) on the drive in the van to the area where you launched the kayaks - delicious and filling. This excursion focused on safety and leave no trace behind. Would highly recommend and if we return to the area (a quick event filled trip to Vegas), we would do it again.

Very well organised and spent a full day Kayaking, hiking to hot springs, and swimming. Guide and support team were great and always felt safe in their hands. The trip I was on was slightly different from the one listed. I stayed at Best Western in Boulder City, started the kayaking from the bottom of Hoover Dam and ended at Willow Beach. The scenary was beautiful, we paddled at a slow pace and so could enjoy the views. It was a very hot day and so hats were a must. The dips in the are a great way to cool off and so don't be put off by how cold they say the water is. If you are from the UK then you have likely swam in colder. Overall, the highlight of my holiday.

Touring with Holmes was an absolute delight! His deep knowledge of the desert landscape, coupled with his passion for adventure, made for an unforgettable experience. From navigating the Colorado River to uncovering hidden gems, Holmes ensured every moment was filled with excitement and wonder. His attention to detail and commitment to safety truly set him apart. Highly recommend embarking on a desert adventure with Holmes at the helm!

Adam was a great River Guide! He was knowledgeable about the area and its history, he was great for the folx who needed kayaking instructions, and he was super friendly. We had a fabulous time, and it was a lovely day. The only suggestion we would make, is that at the end of the day, Desert Adventures should consider having a second employee drive the shuttle back. That's exhausting for a guide to do pick-up, kayak for several hours, then drive over 2.5 hours round-trip to return following to hotels.

I loved the trip! Our guides (Josh & I don’t remember the other name) were so friendly and motivated even though our tour started at 6am 😂😂 but it was absolutely worth it. Early in the morning there was just our group and we were able to enjoy the river and the nature around it to its fullest. :D Our guides had bottles of water for everybody and made sure that we had a good time. I would definitely recommend it!

Excellent day kayaking down the Black Canyon by the Hoover Dam. Excellent pick up and drop off. Antonio our guide was brilliant with masses of local knowledge from local history to geological insights. Overall would definitely recommend to anyone. The 6 hours kayaking takes in about 12 miles.

Picke up was a little early at 530 am for an 8am launch which was hard on vacation but once we got to store and met our guide it was worth it! Luke (Skywalker) was the best guide ever! We got to hike a little longer ways up boy scout canyon do a little climbing up the rope to get up the hot springs. saw an endangered frog and tadpoles. Peregrine falcon chance encounter while it was drinking on the river. Gorgeous view with lunch at Arizona hot springs Park. The lunch was also delicious from a local restaurant/deli that really hit the spot after all the calorie burn with the kayaking. Shout out for Flip as well for driving us back and taking time for us to see the wild sheep at the park in Boulder City! Great value and great experience!

I was initially disappointed that my trip did not include the trip to the hot springs as advertised but it turns out they had just recently been closed for the season due to too high of temperatures for it to be safe. Our guide, Flip, was great. He was a refreshing change from all of the automated step by step direction we had gotten everywhere else in Vegas, and he gave us some basic direction and guidance but otherwise gave us the freedom to explore what we wanted to see rather than being bound to a specific course like many of the other groups we passed. Definitely one of the most amazing experiences of my trip, even prettier than the Grand Canyon in my opinion.

Gorgeous scenery with crystal clear water. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend. Hot Springs we’re super hot which was nice because the water was chilly. All day- fun kayaking!
