A good experience with a great guide but lacking in the overall numbers of animals. Having said that, they are a rehab place so I guess that means they are doing their job well but I was a little disappointed. Having said that I’d still recommend visiting if you want to see the cats up close and you may have better luck with their “stock” than we did. Thanks to Msisi for being a fun and super knowledgeable guide.
This was a brilliant start to the garden route and my partner and I had a great time. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, we got close to the big cats whilst respecting their space and the tour group was only 4 people so we were able to take our time and ask all the questions we wanted. I would definitely recommend visiting.
Fantastically set up and with love everything is supervised. Good to see these animals get another chance. We were in Lion cabin 2 and from the veranda you have a view over the lions. Very special.
Fantastic wow a white lion and lioness so beautiful to see. Such a shame that they are not allowed to live freely in nature because otherwise they will be killed. So nice to see you take good care of them and then all the other animals In addition, also hospital where you make animals that are sick better and release Delicious cup of tea drunk with nice muffin and nice shop
Just a shame we didn't get to see the cheetah. Lovely experience. Will do it definitely again. Little coffee shop was awesome.
The place is so beautiful, clean & well kept. The staff is friendly, helpful & they are professionals. They are doing such an amazing job with rehabilitating wild life.
Nice experience! We learned a lot about the wildcats and received great information. It is a non-profit organization. The wildcats live in large enclosures. Nice facility and meaningful project.
We had a wonderful two nights in the Lion Cabins (yes, they roar too – in the afternoon and early morning!). Wonderful! Very, very friendly staff (thanks to Davidson and his colleagues!). What a beautiful place where so much good is done for injured or neglected animals! And for those who want to do something for themselves: we also used the new (open since May 2025) spa and really enjoyed the massages!
Boniwe was our guide and she was so kind; friendly and knowledgeable about all the amazing animals. She made our experience truly memorable.
My recent tour at Enikwa Wildlife Awareness started half an hour late due to a lack of other visitors (mid-week). However, the experience itself was very educational, particularly the incredibly close encounters with a leopard and cheetah.
