Excursion d'observation des baleines et des dauphins à Trincomalee | Scenic Boat Promenade

Nisamdiin & Arafath are good drivers. Everyone was very friendly. I was allowed to steer the boat and they had water on board

We started our trip at 5am where the conpany arranged a tuktuk pickup for our hotel in Trinconmalee (Our tuktuk driver was named Nandika, and our boat driver was named Karan)The waves weren’t too crazy too in the morning but as the hours went by we could feel the waves get stronger. You should definitely take some sort of motion sickness medication beforehand. We had originally hoped to see some whales but were unfortunately unable to see the beautiful animals. We did however see over 100 dolphins in the water. Our boat driver, Karan had initially stayed with the other boats when pursuing the dolphins but later moved to a different less crowded spot. This was a wonderful move in my opinion as the dolphins were less stressed over the fact that so many boats were chasing them. In our new area, since it was only us and one other boat, the dolphins became much more confident and would more often playfully jump out of the water or curiously swim right next to our boat. The trip was a wonderful experience, but it would have been perfect if we saw whales. With Karan’s 8 years of working in dolphin and whale watching, he told us that January or April would have had given us better odds at seeing them.

Worthless experience. Dolphins are being hunted. I'm sorry we did this. There is a place where the dolphins often show themselves and there you continue to hunt dolphins with dozens of boats

Overall beautiful experience. Pigeon island tours arranged a pick up from our hotel by tuktuk. Turns out we were the only people that booked this morning so we got a free upgrade to a private tour! The man that took us on the boat was very experienced and kind. We were very lucky to see three blue whales which is very unlikely according to someone working at our hotel. You are guaranteed to see dolphins.

Wasn’t deep sea fishing and kept taking the line off my son everytime he caught something. Guide spoke zero English

Very expensive for what it was. Tour only lasted 2 hours and that included going out and coming back. Was meant to be 3 hours. Also would’ve been nice if the guide had spoke a bit of English to tell us about whales etc he spoke zero English. I asked why only 2 hours but was ignored

The tour was great fun for us. We've seen a lot of dolphins. Everything was perfectly organized, we were well informed by whatapp in advance of the trip, it started on time, the workers were very friendly. Thank you very much
