Excursion de 3 heures en petit groupe sur l'île de Pico

Description

Our morning with Espaco Talassa was an absolute experience. We saw many different species and even sperm whales. Our guide Jonas was great! He was able to give us a lot of information about the different species. Our captain Peter chased us safely and with fun across the Atlantic. At the end there were drinks and a small souvenir. This tour is an absolute recommendation, not least because it places great value on respectful treatment of the animals.
Thank you! Sperm whales and a whole morning of species with Jonas and Peter, sounds like a fantastic trip. We are glad the respect for the animals came through so clearly too. Hope to have you back on board!
There was a great introduction, after which we were in the best hands with Becky, who gave us many explanations along the way, and with João, who drove the inflatable boat. The trip itself was already an experience, but when we also saw sperm whales, a fin whale, and 2 different groups of dolphins, it was a highlight of a very special kind. The team always kept the well-being of the animals in mind so that they were not exposed to any stress. Thank you very much!
Thank you! Sperm whales, a fin whale and two dolphin groups with Becky and João, and always with the animals' wellbeing in mind. What a special day. Hope to have you back on board! — The Talassa Team
Observing the animals in the wild is a real experience: 4 whales, pods of dolphins, and a shark.
Thank you, Bettina! Four whales, dolphin pods and a shark, what an incredible day in the wild. Hope to have you back on board!

Thank you! Sperm whales, dolphins and Jonas's enthusiasm, sounds like the perfect trip. We are glad the commitment to conservation came through too. Hope to have you back on board!
We booked with Espaco Talassa because we knew they were well-regarded and did a lot to protect and respect the animals. Our experience was fantastic! The zodiacs provided a small-group and up-close look at dolphins and we ended up seeing 6 species of whales and dolphins on the trip. The staff was super-friendly and our time with them was one of the highlights of our time in the Azores.
Thank you! Six species of whales and dolphins in one trip, what a highlight to have been part of your Azores experience. Hope to have you back on board! — The Talassa Team
We had a very good guide, Jonas, who was able to tell us a lot about whales and dolphins. The tour was in German, there were only 12 people + skipper and guide on the boat, so everyone could see and hear well. Care was taken to maintain sufficient distance from the animals, yet many dolphins and also a few sperm whales could be observed. Finally, there was a professional explanation of the species seen. Clear recommendation and much success for your future work!!!
Thank you! Small group, respectful distance, dolphins and sperm whales, and a debriefing to tie it all together. We wish you all the best too, and hope to have you back on board! — The Talassa Team
