La Band Rotunda, un point de repère de Wellington depuis sa construction initiale en 1938, est fermée depuis 2012 car elle nécessite d'importants travaux de renforcement et de restauration. Nommé à l'origine par son premier résident polonais Dupa comme le fond de Wellington car la zone était utilisée pour traiter les baleines et faire bouillir la graisse pour l'huile Ainsi nommé d'après l'un des premiers navires qui a livré des ingénieurs et des urbanistes de la société néo-zélandaise arrivée après 1840
La fontaine Carter a été offerte à la ville de Wellington par l'homme d'affaires local Hugh Carter, en mémoire de ses parents George et Ella Carter et des habitants de Wellington pour un coût de 75 000 $.
Des dames peintes et d'autres maisons historiques, telles que celles du style Wellingtonian Streamline Moderne, sont construites le long et dans les collines qui font face à la baie.

Aaron is well versed in many subjects and knows his city very well. He was very accommodating with fitting our schedule into the tour to get us to the airport in plenty of time. His dinner restaurant suggestion was excellent. We would call Aaron again if our travels take us back to Wellington.

Being on a cruise coming from Australia, we were all excited to learn and see different views of New Zealand from a well knowledgeable, locals point of view. Over the 5 hour period of us being with David, he shared his recommendations, knowledge and humor with us. As well as having a variety of ages within our family tour, he was able to connect with all of us and allowed us to have an amazing time. Seeing the different views and learning some history with it, enhanced our enjoyment within our tour, by including actually interesting things which we were interested in. If you’re looking for a detailed and interesting tour, myself and my 17 family members highly recommend Kosher tours and travels, especially David (for a good laugh)!!

Though the weather was rainy and blustery, Aaron made good use of our time adapting to what we could see inside and out as the conditions permitted. His van was clean and comfortable. Aaron has an amazing wealth of historical and political knowledge of Wellington - I would prefer more historical & sites narrative, but was enjoyable none the less.
