Bizarre Austin City Tour

My wife and I recently took Twisted Texas Tour with Pimp Piccadilly and Dan the Music Man. It was OUT THERE!!! We surreptitiously graffitied the side of some random woman's house in SoCo, ate ice cream we didn't pay for, listened to live musical classics that with lyrics that would have made Weird Al blush - we even witnessed a safari animal urinating. By the end of the tour, we began to appreciate Pimp's "sense of humor". Sometimes the finer things in life are an acquired taste. If you want a tour where you learn boring facts and historical figures - take the trolley tour with your grandparents. If you want a tour where you laugh and make a connection with a wonderful city - take the Twisted Texas Tour. It was the most memorable part of our trip - and that means a lot considering Austin is such an unforgettable place. Stay Weird Austin!!!

The tour was fun and informative! The tour guide and driver Kate was great at telling the weird aspects of Austin with fun and flair! Lucinda the musician was great also. What a tag team! Highly recommend the tour!

Super fun way of seeing some of the ‘different’ highlights of Austin. Piccadilly is really knowledgeable about the history and the area, Dan provides awesome entertainment and together made a fun morning adventure.

Hannah and the redheaded comedian driver were absolutely phenomenal. It could not have been a better experience.

It was very disappointing given how much the cost was. We should of just Ubered to the few spots. We seen a few murals, walked across one bridge and spent most of the time driving in traffic, hearing them sing 3 songs in total. Most of the time was spent listening to them complain about political views and especially their financial positions in the world or lack there of money which made it awkward. The big highlight was stopping for a $5.00 ice cream. Again just uber there for this price.

We wanted to do a “ keep Austin weird tour” that wasn’t as traditional, and not with a huge group. The air conditioned van holds a maximum of 12 guests which is perfect to make it more personal and fun. Our tour guide pimp Piccadilly doesn’t disappoint keeping the information interesting instead of dryly sharing historical facts. Lucinda’s guitar playing and songs were very funny while also sharing information about the city. We made some stops along the way for photo opportunities and learned things we would’ve likely never know about Austin. Highly recommend!

Such a great and entertaining tour around Austin. We had so much fun! I would 100% recommend for family and friends.

A friend from out of state and i spent a night in downtown Austin and went on this tour that picks up at the Austin Visitor center. Pimp Picadilly and Clint Manning were our driver and musician for this small van tour. Otherwise we had a total of 6 tourists. We visited a wall art location we were allowed to write on, crossed the walking bridge at Ladybird lake, enjoyed rice ice cream at a local women's business and learned fun facts about glthe weirdness (aka buy local) city including unusual laws on the books. So fun recommended!

Pimp Picadilly and Clint Manning were fun and fabulous. The tour was worth the price and we had a great group of tourists join us. The pick up location was perfect, while we were staying at the Driskil Hotel downtown Austin. We got to hear from fun tales of the city and learned what "Keep Austin Weird" means. Our guides were knowledgeable of the area and talented with a guitar. Recommended!
