Wave Rock et Pinnacles Tour Air et Terre

Description

Kookaburra air & ground tour was fantastic Henry our pilot & guide was very professional & flew the Cesena 210 safely with confidence We had a great experience & well worth the money to see 2 distant sites in 1 day Good luck Kookaburra Les Kay Scott
Thank you for your letting us know of your experience with us and I will pass it on to Henry and Kass from Pinnacles. It is a costly exercise, and I only wish we could do it for less but as you say it is a great experience and well worth it. Also, certainly better that 2 to 3 days of driving, hire car, and accommodation. Your comments really make it worthwhile and motivating for us. Thanks Darrel Kookaburra Air
Excellent trip with Alex the friendly and helpful pilot also very good ground guide Cas who has a lot of knowledge about the pinnacles. Would highly recommend as you can do 2 places in one day instead of 2 long day trips.
Thank you for your kind words! We're glad you enjoyed your trip with us Alex
Our pilot Alex was professional and did a fantastic job flying us from Perth to Wave Rock to The Pinnacles and back to Perth. Lunch was at a restaurant at Wave Rock and we had a dedicated guide at the Pinnacles. Alex gave us a scenic return back to Perth by heading south along the coastline.
Hi Heather, thank you so much for your review - it was a pleasure flying you! Alex
Both the Pinnacles & Wave Rock was amazing to see. Darrel at Kookaburra Airlines was brilliantly flexible with my booking. Cass was a wealth of information at The Pinnacles & Adam our pilot was amazing throughout our flights & with info at & around Wave Rock. A fantastic way to cover a lot of ground in comfort (& without the loooong bus trip).
Hey Lisa! Thank you for the fantastic review! It was our pleasure to fly with you and Greg. I will pass on your kind words to Darrel & Cass! Please enjoy the rest of your trip. Hope to see you again someday. Sincerely, Adam Roni.
Fabulous if long day out with Adam as our pilot. Highly recommended for kids - Adam couldn’t have been more engaging, explaining the plane, how to read the weather, really keeping them occupied. The Wave Rock to Pinnacles leg of the flight is really quite long in a small plane so you need some distraction! Wonderful to see wave rock in the relative solitude of the early morning, and the flight gave us the chance to see sights we would never have experienced if we’d had to drive. Probably not recommended for kids much under 8 due to the length of the flight and no toilet opportunity on the plane!
I joined by myself on that Air tour and enjoyed more than epected. Sitting at the co-pilot sheet and looking aroud all 360deg view. It was a most exciting time. 3 location in a day iis really rich and effective. Thank you
It was certainly a pleasure flying with you Osamu! Thank you for your review, we are ecstatic to hear that you enjoyed the tour and we wish you all the best. Kyle - Kookaburra Air
Our pilot Elliott was great. We got terrific aerial views of Wave Rock and Pinnacles and toured them on the ground. We did in one day what would have taken 3 by car. Don't miss the Lobster Shack in Cervantes and the history that goes with that area. Our on the ground tour guides at the Pinnacles, Cass and Michael, were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. As a geologist this was a great way to see two exceptional geological features.
I will pass this on to Elliott, it will make his day I am sure. I agree Kass and Michael are both fantastic too - full of local knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to send us a review. We really appreciate the feedback, and it is a great help in maintaining and improving our customers' experience. Darrel, CEO
The pilot (Charles) had his elderly aunty on the trip with us. The office staff reminded him to ask us if it was 'ok' for his aunty to join us. Only then did he ask. I was put in a position where I had to say yes. How would you feel having had to pay $1400/pp only to have the pilot have his family member along - for FREE? Lunch was NOT provided - although it clearly says on Tripadvisor and also on the booking confirmation. There was a cafe at Wave Rock, but since it was only 10.10am, we did not eat - as it was clearly advertised that 'a light lunch will be provided'. No lunch upon arrival at the Pinnacles nor did the ground tour staff suggest that we go to the cafe for lunch. Prior the day, we were NOT advised of the possibility of air sickness and to come prepared. The pilot was unable to fly at a higher altitude due to no clearance and had to fly low, and this resulted in a terrible 2 HOURS bumpy ride from Wave Rock to the Pinnacle. An experiences company should have the foresight to warn passengers. While the attractions are spectacular - it was let down by the the unprofessionalism and poor customer service from Kookaburra Air.
Thank you for your review, Kiran. It is much appreciated and helps improve out services to our clients, understand the clients view point, and opinions of the experience we provide. I am concerned about the lunch as we were billed on the day. I feel there may have been a communication breakdown in that a lunch is to be selected from the cafe for consumption on the flight to the Pinnacles. As you said you did not want to eat the café assumed you did not want any lunch. Unfortunately, the military area was active that day and the pilot was instructed to descend. Charles did say that he offered a 15 minute longer route around the military zone but you opted to descend on the direct route. The additional passenger was boarded, but you were on the standard tour where seats are available for other passengers. Exclusive tours can be provided on request. Kind Regards Kookaburra Air
We had a super day out, we first flew up the coast to the Pinnacles and had a tour round them with enthusiastic guide Cass. Then onto Wave Rock where we had lunch and a tour of the rock with our pilot Jack. This is a great way to see both the Pinnacles and Wave Rock in one day and avoid long drives. The flight cross country from the Pinnacles to Wave Rock was really spectacular. We also really enjoyed the flypast of Wave Rock. Thank you to our pilot Jack who was really helpful and informative.
Hey Gillian, We're really glad you had such an enjoyable experience, and thank you so much for the awesome review! Hopefully we'll see you up in the air again soon :) James.
Thanks Jack for a very special day. A great way to see two major attractions in one day or how to avoid almost 1000kms of driving! Small planes are not everyone’s cup of tea especially when you are bouncing along at 4000 feet travelling from Wave Rock to Cervantes but it is definitely worth the discomfort. Jack is a great pilot and a nine year flying veteran at just 24 years of age! Surprisingly there is more to see en route including salt lakes and the 45 minute run down the coast back to Perth is spectacular so don’t forget your camera. Special mention also to Kass, our guide to the Pinnacles; so passionate about this very special place and her “little babies” as she refers to the pinnacles newly emerging from the desert sand. Two hours goes by in a moment. Altogether a great day out.
Thanks for your great review! We're glad you enjoyed your trip so much :)
