Faites une excursion d'une journée de New York à la capitale de notre pays, Washington DC, lors de cette visite entièrement guidée. Voyagez à bord d'un Mercedes Benz Sprinter ou d'un autocar climatisé avec connexion Wi-Fi (selon la taille du groupe). Visitez les monuments les plus emblématiques de DC, notamment le cimetière national d'Arlington, le Vietnam, le coréen et le Jefferson Memorial. Vous vous arrêterez également à la Maison Blanche et au Capitole des États-Unis pour voir les deux de l'extérieur (veuillez noter que vous n'entrerez pas dans la Maison Blanche ou le Capitole des États-Unis). Vous verrez tout ce que DC a de mieux à offrir !

La tournée de Washington DC part de New York vers le sud en passant par les États du New Jersey, du Delaware et du Maryland avant d'arriver à la capitale nationale.
Commencez la visite au cimetière national d'Arlington et visitez la tombe de la famille Kennedy.
Visitez le Lincoln Memorial sur le National Mall.
Visitez le mémorial des anciens combattants de la guerre de Corée sur le National Mall.
Visitez le mémorial des vétérans du Vietnam sur le National Mall.
Visitez le Jefferson Memorial sur le National Mall.
Visitez la Maison Blanche. Nous n'entrons pas dans la Maison Blanche. Vous verrez l'extérieur.
Passez devant le Capitole des États-Unis, siège du Sénat et de la Chambre des représentants des États-Unis. Nous n'entrons pas dans le Capitole.
Faisant partie de l'image emblématique de Washington, le bassin réfléchissant accueille bon nombre des 24 millions de visiteurs par an qui visitent le National Mall. Il est bordé de sentiers pédestres et d'arbres d'ombrage des deux côtés.
La gare Union est une importante plaque tournante des transports servant de gare, de gare routière et de station de métro. C'est aussi une destination touristique populaire, avec un magnifique bâtiment de style Beaux-Arts avec des boutiques, des restaurants et une aire de restauration.

The host was excellent and very knowledgeable. The tour was fast-paced and involved many hours on the bus, but it checks off all the key sights someone needs to see in DC.
The tour guide is very composed despite the delays due to bus malfunction. The bus replacement took a while like 2 hours, but once it arrived, it went on. The tour was amazing and recommendable. I hope they check their buses first before the trip.
Alan did an outstanding job as our guide. He obviously knows his stuff. His presentation was short and interesting. We had a small group allowing us a few extra stops. The weather cooperated which helped. Our driver did an excellent job getting us to our different sites.

Went on a Washington day tour from NY. Firstly should thank the guide who was knowledgeable and very polite. Took us to the places and explained in detail. Only disappoint was we couldn't go near White house due to the VVIP visit to white house to meet president. The entire area was blocked off. White house is one the main attractions in Washington. This is unavoidable but the tour organizers should have considered to take the group elsewhere to compensate the time allocated for the white house tour.
Our guides Allan and Carlos were fantastic. We saw the highlights of Washington which were stunning and throughout our journey got to learn so much. Highly recommend to see the historic side of Washington and get a glimpse of other states. Arlington cemetery in Virginia was definitely a highlight.

I have always enjoyed GetYourGuide, I have used it several times with satisfaction. This time, however, during my trip from NY to Washington the guide was not very involved with the group, distracted and not at all willing, he did not share any passion with all of us, with limited information on the historical heritage of the place. I expected more engagement based on the description given on the presentation format. More than a guide we had a companion, so much so that most of us were forced to use search engines to understand what we were seeing. To promote the tours instead magically became sociable and irrepressible. It was really a limited experience, I would consider other offers. Fantastic day trip from New York! Very impressed with Washington DC and well worth the time and effort with the fabulous host, Allan, and driver, Carlos. The pair of them went the extra mile with showing sites that weren't on the itinerary. The only thing I would say is the that the van could do with a bit of TLC and older people may struggle with stepping in and out of the van with no hand rails and a large step
