Visitez Original American Combat AirBase.

The sights were amazing The Lady Budda incredible! Vincent our guide made it a great day he even sourced a vegetarian lunch for me! This has been my favourite tour so far with so much culture and history.
A very thought provoking and moving excursion looking at massacres during the Vietnam War. The experience was sobering. We also visited to Golden Pagoda and Buddha which was impressive. The excursion was very well led by Cham.Cham who was very knowledgeable and passionate about the sites. This helped him bring make the experience more memorable. A thanks also to the driver. Both were very accommodating.
Really enjoyed this full day tour with a passionate and informative host. Golden Pagoda and huge statue were beautiful, and the tour around the My Lai villages really brought home the tragedy of the war. Lunch was excellent and the host even accommodated my daughter who doesn’t eat beef or pork by bring some home cooked food along for her that was kindly made by the hosts wife. Finally we visited the Ky Anh tunnels and were hosted by a viet cong veteran who built the network of tunnels. His pride and passion really shone through and the tunnel tour was great. All in all a great day, would recommend.

This was one of the most profound tours I've ever been on. Vincent is so passionate, enthusiastic and provides a wealth of knowledge about the sites we visited. His research in these subjects goes so deep. I really loved the pit stop at Chu Lai airbase. My father was in the US army during the war here and was stationed there and Vincent really respected my energy to sort of remain a few moments longer to have a personal moment. Each stop on this tour held deep meaning to this country and you could feel that coming through Vincent. I could not recommend this tour enough for anyone wanting to explore the countryside while simultaneously being presented with an incomparable and essential account of Vietnamese history. Logistics: The ride was very comfortable and the group was only 7. Plenty of restroom breaks. Vincent was constantly checking on us and provided a cooler of ice cold bottled water. Lunch was delicious and refreshing! 10/10 Necessary: BRING A HAT, wear shorts, water, power bank, electrolytes, sunscreen, and an open and curious mind. This was worth every cent. I would do it again in heartbeat if I come back. Thank you so much Vincent! Everything else I do for the rest of my trip will have to raise the bar to the standards you've set for this tour.
My 12 year old daughter and I went on this tour so that she can learn some history of the terrible massacre that American soldiers caused. Vincent our guide was incredible with his knowledge and it was good that we were only a small group of 7 people. Watching the documentary about the massacre and seeing things that have been left from the past was truly touching and heartbreaking. What was also interesting to visit were the Vietcong tunnels at Ky Anh where we also met a nice old men who is a former Vietcong Veteran and who also build the tunnels. It was fascinating to hear to his secret stories as well. This tour is a must see so people can understand how terrible everything has been . Out of respect I didn’t take any photo inside the museum besides the memory wall with all the names that have lost their life on that day.
What a very interesting tour. I learnt so much from our tour guide who was very knowledgeable. Also got to meet a 70yr old who was Vietcong, he was just such a happy man.
Our family of four (mum travelling with three teenagers) had an incredible Vietnam War tour with Highland, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Meeting a Viet Cong war veteran and exploring the secret Viet Cong tunnels brought the history of Vietnam to life in a way that no book or documentary ever could. Throughout the day we drove through beautiful Vietnamese villages while learning about the country’s fascinating and complex history. The tour was packed with interesting historical facts, but it never felt boring because there were so many different stops and experiences along the way that kept all three of my teenagers engaged from start to finish. It is a long day, so be prepared for that, but we travelled in a spacious, air-conditioned van with bottled water provided throughout, making the journey very comfortable. Our guide, Cham, was incredibly friendly, kind, and knowledgeable, and it was obvious how passionate he is about sharing Vietnam’s history with visitors. His enthusiasm and storytelling made the entire experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for a tour that combines authentic local experiences, powerful history, and excellent guiding, I highly recommend this tour with Highland.
Vincent was great, very informative and answered all my questions
