Après 2 heures de cette visite à pied, vous obtiendrez des connaissances sur la ville de Bergen des premiers siècles médiévaux jusqu'à nos jours. Bergen est surnommée la « capitale des fjords » et le « centre du commerce médiéval ». Les vieux quaters de Bryggen ont préservé l'esprit de la ville marchande médiévale qui est devenue le carrefour commercial le plus actif de Scandinavie il y a de nombreux siècles. Beaucoup de Norvégiens célèbres sont nés ici. Vous visiterez la forteresse de Bergenhus et la salle Haakon qui est devenue le centre du pouvoir royal en Norvège il y a des centaines d'années. Pas d'entrées, vous les verrez depuis la cour de la forteresse. Vous serez plongé dans l'atmosphère réelle du passé et obtiendrez également des informations sur la vie dans cette ville aujourd'hui. Ce n'est pas seulement une visite historique. Chaque touriste reçoit avant la visite un sac avec des baies arctiques en chocolat en cadeau gratuit. L'un des plus anciens marchés aux poissons de Norvège où vous pouvez voir, goûter et manger des plats presque cuits à partir de tous les types de poissons pouvant être pêchés dans les fjords norvégiens.
Un groupe de maisons de marchands ayant appartenu à la Ligue hanséatique allemande au cours des siècles médiévaux. Costructions uniques organisées dans un système architectural spécial utilisé par la Ligue hanséatique plus de 400 ans. Cette zone est inscrite sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en 1979.
La plus ancienne église en pierre de Bergen qui a été érigée entre 1130 et 1180. L'église est connue aussi sous le nom d'église allemande, car de nombreux siècles ont été utilisés par la Société Hanséatique à Bergen. Jusqu'à la fin du XIXe siècle, tous les offices y étaient célébrés en allemand. La visite à l'intérieur de l'église n'est pas incluse dans le programme de la visite. Forteresse médiévale qui devint le siège des rois norvégiens à partir de 1100 ans environ. La plus ancienne résidence royale en pierre Haakon Hall et la tour de défense Rosenkrantz ont été érigées au milieu du XIIIe siècle. Depuis les bastions de la forteresse, vous pourrez admirer la vue sur le fjord de la ville et le pays des îles le long du littoral.
Cette tour de défense médiévale peut être vue de toutes les parties du vieux Bergen. La Tour est musée avec le point de vue au plus haut étage de la construction. Nous l'examinerons de l'extérieur. Cela prendra environ 10 min.
Haakon Hall qui a été érigé en 1261 est toujours utilisé. C'est le meilleur endroit pour rencontrer des délégations étrangères. L'esprit médiéval de ce palais est un véritable signe de l'histoire de Bergen. Pour entrer dans le hall, vous avez besoin de billets. Pendant notre visite à pied, nous examinerons Haakon Hall de l'extérieur. 10 - 15 min
C’est la principale place piétonne de la ville et un lieu de rencontre très prisé des citoyens de Bergen.

Very comprehensive walking tour of Bergen. The guide has an extensive knowledge of the local sites and history and proceeded at a reasonable pace, permitting time for photos and questions. Bergen weather is usually wet, so be prepared.

This walking tour we ordered from Vinol Tours. One day before we had a great hike with Olav - mountain guide from the same company. Conversations with Olav during 5 hours of our hike were so interesting that we decided to order him again for historical tour next day. And the highest scores for Olav and Vinol Tours again! Bergen became the the center of medieval trade in Scandinavia many centuries ago. We have visited Bryggen - trading office that belonged to Trading Hanseatic League from the XIV-th century up to the middle of XIX th century. This is UNESCO site. Bergenhus Fortress we have visited also. Very impressive strong point that existing in the city from XII century. We ended tour at the fish market where we have enjoyed a good lunch after the tour.

mA very good tour agency. They helped me with a booking error and ensured that a tour guide was available for my corrected booking in a rather short time. Kudos to Ule and team. My guide for this tour was Alex. He has been in the country for a while and was knowledgeable about the Norwegian way of life. The tour started off from the Tourist Info centre at the Fish Market. We went up the furnicular (extra NOK95) and took in the city view from the top. Thereafter, we went to Bryggen, the church behind it and then to the city centre. There was a Christmas market at the centre and we took in the sights. Alex was very open and answered any questions I had about Bergen, Norway and Scandinavia. He even helped me take my tram tickets and offered to send me links to the Norwegian tales about trolls.This tour was well worth the time and money.

This tour was very informative. We have visited all main attractions in the city center. The most interesting place for me and my wife is Bergenhus Fortress. In 11th century when Bergen became the capital of Norway local kings decided to build their main residence on the shore of Bergen Fjord. More then 200 years The Fortress with Haakon Hall was the main place for the kings. Thanks for people that booked the same tour previously.
