Écoutez l'histoire du siège et de la bataille d'Alamo, ce qui s'est passé et pourquoi nous nous en souvenons aujourd'hui. Vous vous trouverez devant ce monument historique national de renommée mondiale. Ce n'est pas une visite à travers l'Alamo.
C'est le symbole de l'Exposition universelle, connue sous le nom de « Hemisfair », qui s'est tenue à San Antonio en 1968. Plus de 6 millions de personnes ont visité la ville pour vivre l'Exposition universelle. D'une hauteur de 750 pieds, il domine les toits de la ville.
Promenez-vous parmi les imposants cyprès et écoutez l'histoire de l'historique Riverwalk. Prenez une photo sur le célèbre pont Selena, visitez Marriage Island, le joli théâtre de la rivière Arneson et bien d'autres points forts du Riverwalk.
Ce théâtre en plein air, construit en 1940, se trouve sur le San Antonio Riverwalk et est le théâtre de défilés fluviaux, de divertissements... et de films. Ici se trouve également le magnifique pont Rosita.
Cette sculpture imposante est une icône de San Antonio. C'était un cadeau fait à la ville pour montrer l'amitié entre trois nations. Conçue par Sebastian, cette sculpture de 65 pieds de haut est arrivée dans la ville en 2002.

C'est l'une des plus anciennes cathédrales des États-Unis et remonte au début des années 1700. Le pape Jean-Paul II a visité la cathédrale lors de sa visite à San Antonio et Jim Bowie s'y est marié.
C'est la plus ancienne taverne du Riverwalk et a ouvert ses portes en 1933. En plus d'être l'endroit idéal pour « observer les gens » sur le Riverwalk, elle possède un bar en bois imbibé de bière qui mesure 100 pieds de long.
Probablement le bâtiment le plus apprécié de San Antonio, et son architecture romane richardsonienne présente un dôme en forme de ruche unique. Écoutez l'histoire de sa création... et pourquoi il est très populaire lors d'une journée spéciale chaque année.
Découvrez le restaurant emblématique au bord de la rivière avec ses parasols colorés. Il se vante d'être le premier restaurant à ouvrir sur le Riverwalk et remonte à 1946. Un endroit idéal pour déguster également des mariachis en promenade.

This is one of the best city tours I’ve been on. Stewart, the tour guide is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and most importantly very respectful to everyone in our tour group. He provided a great overview of downtown San Antonio and a comprehensive history of the river walk. I highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic guide, informative & comprehensive tour of the downtown area. A must-do for visitors to the city! Stewart was amazing as our tour guide. We have been to San Antonio a handful of times and have enjoyed seeing many sights of the city. Stewart took this visit to the next level with his fun and informative tour. We learned things about The Alamo, Riverwalk, and various other stops along our route that we had never heard before! Our family was a group of 8; our youngest child was 3 and oldest 16. All our kids enjoyed this activity and though I was a bit apprehensive about taking a stroller for our 3 and 4 yr olds due to many stairs along the Riverwalk; we brought small very lightweight foldable umbrella strollers along that quickly fold up (actually we didn’t even bother to fold them, just simply carried the strollers up a flight of stairs or two) and it worked beautifully. Our littles jumped right in/out of their stroller and it saved their legs from being tired. Stewart was patient and understanding to adjust to our kiddos needs and it was much appreciated. Book this tour, you will not be disappointed. Whether it’s your first visit to the city or you’ve been several times I almost guarantee you’ll learn something new and have a great time doing so!

Our walking tour was led by Stewart, who is surprisingly an Aussie, that has been living in San Antonio for the past 25 years and has a passion and enthusiasm for the city's history. He made the tour fun and interesting and we learned a lot about the city through his guidance. Stewart’s walking tour was absolutely fantastic! He is highly engaging, funny and so knowledgeable about San Antonio and is continuously learning more to add to his tour. Stewart included rest stops and a coffee stop adding to the relaxed pace of the tour. He catered for various mobility levels of the group members.
