Not a lot of “ghost” stories. Some pirate and basic history that was interesting. Our guide occasionally talked while looking ahead and I couldn’t hear a thing she was saying in the back.
Thank you for the review. In the future our guide will be wearing a voice amplifier when the group is large. You are correct that our tour is history heavy. We take pride in the fact that our ghost stories are true and not exaggerated for effect. We have 16 distinct locations and 11 have a ghost encounter in it's story. We are changing the title of our tour to Walking Historical Ghost Tour. Some of our other guests have left the following positive comments. Not Just A Ghost Tour! Be able and prepared to walk long distances. I know this seems obvious by the title but partly that was with us had to leave early because they were not able to walk the long distance. It’s is lovely 90 minute evening experience. Robert, our guide, was knowledgeable and fun to talk to. He had great stories about the local lore and area. Highly recommend. Looking to book one of his day time trolley tours when we return next year.
We loved that our guide shared not only ghost stories but did a deep dive into history which we appreciated.
It was very interesting and historical but not as spooky as I thought it would be. We would have liked more ghosts stories. But overall we enjoyed it very much. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Great night 🙂
A lot of walking but worth it, very informative and fun strolling newport learned a lot about the history of many buildings and properties throughout newport. The guide was well informed and pleasant and the kids enjoyed the ghost stories about a lot of the venues we visited

Great time! Guide was knowledgeable, funny, interesting, and made sure you could hear him, and wanted all to have a good time. Answered all questions...Great sense of humor. Definitely a character which made it more enjoyable. Lots of paranormal activity/ghost haunting stories, history facts on war, pirates and famous people in the area. Highly recommend this tour!
