We cannot begin to thank Ari and the Mega Expeditions team for making this a wonderful holiday for all fo us in Cusco. This was our first trip to South America and as always we all had our anxious moments around the people, currency, culture, mobility, food. high altitude etc. Sure we have all the resources on the internet that can guide you, but what really made us feel comfortable was that Mega had scheduled a Virtual call with us a week before our departure and Ari explained everything we needed to know before the trip. This took away a lot of our uncertainties and made us feel like we were indeed going on a holiday. After that call, in the last 2 minutes, Ari actually asked us to summarize whatever we heard just so that we ae all clear and on the same page. After landing in Cusco ,we went and visited the Mega Expeditions office and we were certainly bowled over by their hospitality. We got answers to all of our questions, but more importantly, they made us all feel that we were in good hands for this holiday. All that we now wanted to do was enjoy our holiday. All the tour activities to the Sacred Valley, Salt Mines were on schedule, the local guides were excellent. We also did the Cusco Local City tour with them What a beautiful city and countryside ! Not to forget the ATV rides was an experience in itself. - Rony
Amazing salt mines, a good spot for pictures. We took the atv tour to two lakes. It's very dusty, but an enormous thrill to drive an atv. Good explanation. View on the lakes is beautiful.
I was really disappointed with this tour. I really like riding a motorbike and I was quite excited to see the Sacred Valley differently. It was very frustrating that at every point of the tour we were really MAXIMUM 20 minutes. With jobs you half saw the place, you took two pictures and you were already being pressured to leave again, plus Romel, the Guide, was always serious without any attempt to live with us or make the tour more enjoyable. He practically always ignored us unless it was strictly necessary to talk to us. The person who received us in the warehouse of the quatris had a horrible attitude, very haughty and scolding. There were people on the tour who had never driven a four-wheeler and spent them yelling at them instead of explaining. They had us there in a vile muddy parking lot for over 25 minutes going round and round and round to "learn." On top when asked please possibility to go to the bathroom we were told that there were no, although clearly there were cabins with a dry bathroom inside. Literal we had to escape to make the bathroom after about two hours drive. Anyway, back, they ended up leaving us in a random square without warning us or anything. They just opened the door and bye. As soon as we got off, a new group got in the van, so it made all the sense in the world that they spent the whole tour running us. I don't recommend it at all.
Great experience, great fun and different activity to do in and around Cusco. Would strongly recommend mega expeditions - great tour company who offer an extremely affordable and valuable experience!
Amazing experience definitely worth the money. Romel from ATV tour guide made this made this activity better he explained everything good and when my friends had a problem on the way he helped out a lot. If you are in Cusco and don’t know what to do just go for it. Its not far so you don’t sit in the bus for a long time.
The ATV tour was well organised and fun. Unfortunately, we were a little unlucky with the weather and had rain for most of the tour. Changes to our originally booked dates were accommodated without any issue. Thank you Nixon and Team.
This was so much fun, well organized and great guide. We had a good time, just were a little unlucky with the weather but that’s obviously no one’s fault. Would recommend this to people who look for a bit of fun and adventure.
Mega Expeditions did it again! I highly recommend this company for so many reasons. Very attentive to your needs, well organized itineraries, professional team, they value their clients so much! We booked two tours while in Peru - Machu Picchu w train and 2 nights stay in Aguas Calientes and ATV tour in Cuzco. One very minor critic, one guide doesn’t speak in English making it challenging for him and us to communicate but what he did, he asked one of his friends (another guide from another company) to give us some overview of the history behind Moray Inca ruins.. I just hope all guides can speak English esp when dealing with non-speaking Spanish. That is all.. But overall experience were excellent!!
It's a very well rounded tour and the tour guides are very knowledgeable and they really make you feel comfortable in the experience even for my wife and my sister in law that they never done any atv driving.
The trip was very well organized and the location and scenery was extraordinary. The ride on the ATV made it a lot of fun and we felt like a part of the countryside much more than if we had been riding in a bus. Our guide was outstanding. He kept us on time and on track and was very helpful and pleasant.
